We are a chamber orchestra who play classical music concerts with a particular emphasis on 20th century music. We also play works that are unjustly neglected to give the general public in East and West Sussex the opportunity to hear this music.

The Choir's mission is to practice and perform choral and orchestral works of educational and artistic merit.

The Charity's Objects are to advance education and the arts by providing a source of funding to support the development and security of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the attainment of its objects, and the promotion, encouragement and appreciation of music as played on period instruments.

The charity is engaged in promoting the art of music through education and public performance. It is developing courses for young musicians and professionals as well as performing in venues throughout the UK to promote new music.

Bacchus Wind Orchestra is an orchestra which practices wind orchestra music both for the education and enjoyment of its members and with a view to playing concerts for public audience for their enjoyment and education.
