Community facility

We work in partnership with other organisations to provide activities to meet the needs of the people living on The Chantrys estate and surrounding area. Currently we provide a range of childrens events throughout the year plus run table top sales and fetes to increase revenue. We are looking to expand the activities dependant on future funding.

To be held upon trust for the purpose of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Marrick in the county of North Yorkshire without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including the use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.

Maintain Village playing field as a safe enviroment for children at play and a recreational area for community activities.

Provides an open space facility to the general public for: sport and recreation; an open air classroom for study of wildlife and nature; a "breathing space" for quiet leisurely activities for elderly with access to the disabled; a safe environment for young children; opportunity for young people on training environmental schemes; a community events area for village activities.
