Our current activities include the provision of practical support to refugees and asylum seekers from the Sudanese Community living in the UK, as most of them experience problems of adjusting to a different culture, language difficulties to access basic services such as health, education, housing, training and employment. We help families, children and young people to improve their lives.

The Community Association is a representative body looking after the interests of all the people in Midsomer Norton and the surrounding parishes, liaising with stakeholders from the public, private and "not for profit" sectors. The Association is also responsible for The Somer Centre (a community building) enabling individuals to: socialise; learn and enhance skills; and, develop friendships.

Advancing religion of Islam for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures (public celebration of religious festivals) producing and/or distributing literature on Islam to enlighten others about the religion of Islam.

Community Association providing activites for all the residents of Burnage and surrounding area. Age range from babies to over 90s.

Old Silkstone Brass Band is a community organisation which provides members with access to learning and performing brass band music. The band are based in Silkstone near Barnsley but perform not only to the local community but much further afield.

Benefit the inhabitants of Hurley and the neighbourhood

Operates and maintains the community centre building and grounds enabling playgroup for infants and children, dance classes, sport and recreation clubs for special interest groups and a club for the elderly. Used for childrens parties, local elections.

Stanton Village Hall provides a community building for physical and mental training, and the recreational, social, moral and intellectual development of inhabitants of Stanton and the immediate vicinity. The Hall hosts activities such as tai chi, karate, keep-fit, and support groups. It hosts the local defibrillator and runs community activities (litterpicks, village social events).

To maintain a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Riverview Park. The centre provides for a nursery school, senior citizens club, dancing (ballet, stage, line-dancing, ballroom, sequence) youth club, martial arts, church services and a hall for hiring for functions. Saffron Dean Community Association works in partnership with other Allerton based projects to improve the lives of people in the community. It supports local groups through grants of funding &is developing and delivering services that includes training and development for the unemployed & activities and events for local youth & elderly.

Provide equipment and maintenance for the village play park and other community activities

Connecting the gifts, aspirations, capacities, and skills of people in Birmingham's Birchfield Ward so that together we are better able to identify local needs and priorities and act in response to them. Birchfield Community Association aspires to work alongside residents and partners to make a difference to local priorities to create a place that is even better for all to live and work in.

Delamere Community Centre serves Delamere & Oakmere residents well and is used morning, afternoon & evenings by the community. This includes Crown Green Bowling, Bridge, Badminton, Indoor Bowls, Golden Club, Whist, Snooker, Billiards, Military Whist, Women's Institute, Keep Fit, Slimming World and other meetings and social occasions. Over 400 people use the centre of which 180+ are DCA Members.

Maintain the Community Centre for the provision of accommodation for local groups, such as Playgroups, Brownies, Guides, Local residents groups.

Colebrook Community Association runs a range of activities for the residents of Colebrook and the surrounding area of Plympton. The main annual events are a summer carnival, fireworks display, car boot sales and Christmas celebrations. The Assocation's centre is used for a variety of classes, clubs, meetings and functions.

Management of a community building for the use by others on a rental basis.
