WEAVERS COMMUNITY FORUM IS A GRASSROOTS YOUTH AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATION CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES IN THE EAST OF LONDON. IT OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THESE CAN BE GROUPED INTO THE FOLLOWING THEMES: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT: HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: COMMUNITY EVENTS: AND GENERIC YOUTH CLUB ACTIVITIES.

We work with children & young people between the ages of 4 to 14 yrs. We use our facilities for meetings and get outdoors for adventurous and community activities. We do fundraising to maintain the building and support activity costs, pay our ground rent and everyday services. We hold occasional fundraising / sponsored events to supplement our membership fees.

Local community hall, run for the benefit of local community. Available for hire daytime, evenings or weekend, short hire or long term. Hall leased from local authority, trustees aim is to improve the facilities and repair of the hall from profits made from hire cahrges and/or grants.

Provision of a Village Hall with kitchen and toilet facilities. The hall has a stage and a store room. It is used for a wide variety of community activities including coffee mornings, craft classes, parish council, dog training, informal indoor sports, toddlers group, village markets, village festival. Also private hire functions, such as weddings, parties, meetings, study and school groups.

It promotes a village Festival in May each year, raising awareness and finances and works closely with the Community Council in all matters including the administration of our local Community Hall, Neighbourhood Watch and Police PACT.
