Running St John's community hall on the isle of Dogs

To provide a Community Centre for the benefit of the residents of Crosland Moor and neighbourhood for educational or recreative purposes (or as a clinic or welfare or nursing centre).

The charity provides a facility for community activities, the village hall.

Providing facilities for community activities

organising events that produce finance to maintain and run the village community centre in Arddleen. The Centre provides a venue for local organistaions such as Brownies, Mothers & Toddlers, Keep Fit Club, Indoor Shortmat Bowls Club, Sequence Dancing, Bingo and other special events. The Centre is also used during term time by the local school A base for the W.I for some thirty years.

The Charity provides recreational and social facilities for the local community, covering age groups from toddlers to senior citizens.The Centre is currently used mainly in the evenings, by 8 different user groups, and is available for meetings, private party hire and functions. The adjacent field is used at weekends by a local Junior Football Team.

Community-managed Library, and community hub, providing a public library for recreation and/or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities, serving Kirby Muxloe and the surrounding areas. Providing community activities to enable community development and cohesion.

Management of a community hall for local community.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall and contribute to recreational and educational provisions for Ramsey Forty Foot.

Wadsworth Community Association aims to maintain and develop a well-run, friendly centre in the heart of the parish of Wadsworth that understands and reacts to the community?s needs.Our activities include hosting our local Lunch Club, Table Tennis Club and Bowling Club. We have close links with our local school, their Parent Teachers Association, the local Environmental group and the Bee group.

Provides venue for local groups and residents operating in the area of Birch hill, Bracknell.

We are custodians of the parish community centre and field. Events are held to generate income to maintain the property, cover by insurance, comply with requirements of fire, music, gambling etc. Local youth group, pensioners, other local groups use the facility.

B.G.C.A. provide creative and activities for all ages and abilities in the Hull area, which include pottery, art and crafts, a large community garden,food chain project, musical projects which include music and movement and our own skiffle band also the more traditional activities carpet bowls, karate, 55+ club, line dancing and work on a daily basis with excluded young people

Advice and advocacy, youth work, youth activities (i.e. youth club, sports, outing/trips, workshops, peer mentoring), educational link work for secondary schools, family support work, fathers outreach work and other community activities.
