To establish a community centre that promotes and benefits the residents of Shiremoor without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by associating the Local Authority, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure time to improve life.

The charity looks to organise lettings for events ,raise money by fund raising and grant application .This funding is used to maintain the 34 acres the charity owns by way of land management, trees, grass cutting general repairs to boundary fences ,security gates ,footpaths and providing facilities for events to be placed on our fields

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Wells Road and surrounding area without distinction of sex, or political, religious or other opinions, by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time, with the object of improving conditions of life for said inhabitants.

Providing a venue within the village for community activities

We run Mottram Community Centre, which is an old Grade II listed building, in the village of Mottram-in -Longdendale, in Greater Manchester. We take care of the building and hire out the Centre to the local community and beyond. We take regular or one-off bookings from various organisations, from both the voluntary and private sector.

Social activities in the Billy Row area. The area of benefit will now be Billy Row Village the settlements of Stanley Crook adjacent to the North East; Sunniside to the North; Roddymoor to the West and Grahamsley to the south. The boundaries of the settlements will now be the full extent of work carried out by the association.Including safety, environment, education, health and youth.

To advance the Christian religion.To assist in running and supporting community activities, events, and to support those in hardship of need financially, practical need and in health across the UK and the world.

The hall committee organises events to provide entertainment and community activities. The hall is a focal point for the village and provides a venue that villagers can hire for functions and other activities, such as playingsports . The committee organises fund raising activities, including external funding, to raise money to maintain and run the St James and St Nicholas community hall.

The village hall provides a space for many community activities. The charity is responsible for maintaining the fabric of the hall and administering its use.

We operate a village hall for the whole community: The use is for OAP bingo, 1 dance club, food bank and other functions, birthday parties etc.

We provide a building that other groups can hire from us for various activities.

Arts-based activities are at the heart of PC. We seek to provide a creative voice and platform for the people of Southwark, utilising our rich cultural heritage to develop arts and drama-based community activities, produced and performed locally in Southwark

Supports and encourages community activities within the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

RUN A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL RESIDENTS

To manage the Community Centre building for the community. Fund raise for activities in the community and building running costs. Publish a monthly newsletter. Arrange and support learning activities for the community particularly the Youth. The East Rural Youth & Community Association operates in the only community centre in the East Rural Ward of Blackburn with Darwen.

Helping to support and facilitate local people, organisations and charities.

COLLECTS MONIES FOR ACWW; DONATES TO LOCAL CHARITIES SUCH AS MANORLANDS HOSPICE, BRADFORD EAR TRUST & WILSDEN VILLAGE HALL; PROVIDES REFRESHMENTS FOR VILLAGE ACTIVITIES. PROVIDE A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR MEMBERS TO PURSUE HOBBIES, NEW SKILLS & FRIENDSHIPS.
