To promote Interest and Leisure activities for the benefit of the residents of Stoney Middleton with the aim of raising funds for a new community centre and improving the facilities on the playing field for inhabitants of all ages and abilities.

The Summerhill Community Centre is run by the Summerhill Community Association, a group of volunteers. The Centre serves the people of East Coseley in the West Midlands by organising fund-raising events, running community activities such as coffee mornings, snooker club and hiring the Centre out for meetings, weekly events and classes, e.g. art classes.

Promote the benefit and wellbeing of the inhabitants and primarily those of Nigerian origins, in Toxteth.

The Hall provides a venue for a wide range of interest groups and community activities. The Hall relies entirely on local volunteers to manage the hall.

We own and maintain St. Margarets Community Hall and make it available to any club, organisation or member of the public who wishes to hire it for any activity or private function.

Bamford Community Centre is currently used by a Pre-School Playgroup, and the local ladies group.It is also available for casual letting for parties, dance classes, local meetings and other functions as and when required.

Community Association who manage community centre for the benefit of residents in the Overpool and surrounding areas.community rooms are available for hire.

Community Centre Activities

The Ethiopian welfare is a community organisation based in Camden which has worked with refugees since 1993 in a variety of ways. The charity is established to relief hardship, address causes of poverity and advance the education of the public, especially of those in disadvantaged, by providing information advice guidance and support, providing basic skills and learning opportunities.

Running Saturday Supplementary School to give students extra education lessons.social gatherings meetings for community took place and WSCA participated in the local social events in the Borough. Football games, training and other activities for youths continued. The Association held few meetings with other communities in the Borough to share knowledge, experience and to strengthen relationship.

Carpet bowls for all ages competing against other community centres. Ladies groups playing beetle and bingo and other games. Dancing classes for all ages, tap and modern, line dancing, art and craft groups, young peoples activities, social groups to encourage social inclusion and cohesion and others.
