GRANTS TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB FOR NECESSITOUS PURPOSES. DEATH GRANTS TO BEREAVED FAMILIES TO ASSIST WITH FUNERAL EXPENSES. CONVALESCENT GRANTS FOR MEMBERS GOING ON CONVALESCENT STAY AT THE RAOB CONVALESCENT HOMES. BENEVOLENT FUND IS AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB MERSEY PROVINCE WHO ARE IN FULL FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE. THE FUND ALSO ASSISTS WIDOWS IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.

It has no specific activities but through prudent investment adds to its capital sum in order to be able to assist Masonic Brethren who are in need, and to assist other charitable organisations whom the trustees feel warrant assistance.

relief payments after deaths. direct payments to registered charities e.g Bike Active, Heart Beat E.A.C.H .also any appeals we might receive from the public.We also give to the the saint elizabeth hospice. We have also given to the East Suffolk Assocciation for the Blind Also to the make a wish charity. these monies are raised mainly in house but we do hold race night quiz nights.

Raising funds generally from the members of the Lodge to support The Grand Lodge of England' s 4 Main Charities and local Non Masonic Charities in Somerset.

Assistance to widows or dependents of deceased members of the GEB and assistance to members of the GEB who are in distress.

THE ALMONER'S FUND IS TO BE APPLIED IN THE RELIEF OF POOR AND DISTRESSED MASONS, OR THEIR POOR AND DISTRESSED WIDOWS, OR CHILDREN AND TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH MASONIC CHARITIES OR OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS, SOCIETIES AND OBJECTS AS THE LODGE SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

Raising of funds for the benefit of members and their dependants in need of financial support. Also supporting of local and national charitable causes.

Provide relief to Lodge members, families and widows and make donations to recognised Masonic charities

Collecting monies from Lodge registrations which go to our benevolent fund. At the moment we take nothing from registrations but this will change on the next return, it was decided to to take 0.05p from each registration paid to the Doncaster Province. We are also now receiving donations from our Minor Lodges in the Doncaster Province.

THE CHARITY IS PREDOMINANTLY A MASONIC CHARITY, HOWEVER IN 2014to2015 . WE GAVE GRANTS TO NON-MASONIC CHARITIES. GRANTS WENT TO THE BLOODFAST EVS:SOLDIERS SAILORS AIRMEN FAMILIES ASSOCIATION. GRANTS WERE 50% TO MASONIC CHARITIES AND 50% TO OTHER CHARITIES. WE ALSO ORGANISED RAFFLES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
