Girl Guide & Brownie Activities

Girls work through a programme, which has been designed to further the girls social and development skills, along with outdoor activities and residential experiences.

Education of girls between the ages of 5 -7 (Rainbows) 7 - 10 (Brownies) 10-14 (Guides) 14 plus older girls

Weekly meetings providing training for educational and personal development for girls from seven years old and continued advancement of the adult leaders.

Providing support and activities for Rainbow, Brownie and Guide units

MAINTAIN PREMISES TO SUPPORT SCOUTING AND GUIDING ACTIVITIES WITHIN NEWBRIDGE LOCAL AREA.

Supporting and encouraging girls and adults to increase in confidence and awareness through fun and activities within the frame work of Girlguiding.

Carry out activities within the framework of the Girlguiding Cymru.

Scouting & Guiding Activities ie the provision of a building and resourses in the Village of Rossett and surrounding area

Promotion of the Scout Association movement for Cubs and Scouts in the Newton area of Mumbles, Swansea. The Scout Hut has also been used by the 1st Mumbles Rainbows and Brownies. During and since the Coronavirus Pandemic no activity has taken place other than storage of some additional equipment.

Girlguiding UK for Rainbows aged 5 to 7 years, Brownies aged 7 to 11 years, Guides aged 11 years to 15 years and Senior Section, 16+ years.

Guide and Brownie and Rainbow Pack activities

For children aged between 7 and 10 years old, helping them develop life skills, including personal development, communication and sense of community.

Weekly meetings, annual camps & holidays.
