To support the STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon in promoting the history and legacy of the Great Western Railway and in particular the railway works through a programme of investment, education and promotion. The Friends help with the cost of purchase, restoration and display of artefacts, carry out fundraising and promote the Museum through events, activities & publications.

The Village Hall provides a facility for community groups. Current activities include W.I., Indoor Sports, Yoga, Youth groups, 1st Illogan Scouts, Jenny Dance, Martial Arts, Canasta Club (U3A), Friends of Manaingham Wood, & Cornwall Scale Modellers. The hall is also used for private functions and by touring drama groups. The overal aim is to support community development.

Provides financial assistance for the maintenance and upkeep of the church building and grounds of Beckley Parish Church.

The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:2.1 Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2.2 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

To support the Blake Museum, Bridgwater, both by fundraising and also by day-to-day management. The Museum is owned by Bridgwater Town Council.

The charity fundraises to benefit the pupils Crofton Anne Dale federation of schools.

Provision of support to families dealing with special guardianship arrangements.

The Friends of Edenbridge Memorial Health Centre supports the new health centre, opened in November 2023, upon the closure of the Edenbridge Memorial Hospital. It provides funds and equipment to pay for those items/services for which the NHS is unable to pay. Its main objective is to support local NHS services and to fundraise in the community so as to fund essential support.

Fundraising activities to generate income with which to purchase materials, equipment and activities for Kettlewell School pupils.

The Charitable objectives are fr the public benefit, for the relief of poverty or financial hardship caused by ill health or serious injury, for people living in the UK. The charity provides grants of money, resources, services and equipment to enable the person to have a reasonable quality of life and to enjoy recreational pursuits.

Education/ Training

Our PTA works with our school, parents, & pupils to put on a range of events & activities, such as Christmas Fayre, Bedtime Stories, Sponsored walks, book swaps. These help to build the school community, break down barriers & help fundraise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods & services that help advance the education of pupils such as sun shades & kitchen & forest school equipment.

To advance the education of the pupils by providing and assisting with equipment. Also to foster relationships with staff & parents, and to engage in activities which supports the school. This is achieved by a variety of money raising events, and also some non-money making events.

The Friends of Simon De Senlis Primary School raises money for the school only. We purchase items that are not in the normal school budget. All requests are made to the Friends via the Headteacher and all aspects of the request are looked at before a decision is made
