FUND RAISING VIA SCHOOL EVENTS

The Friends provide support to Linton Village College to enrich the lives of students.

The FOYH 1. provides committed, caring volunteers who help NHS staff meet the needs of patients;2. buys equipment or services for the benefit of patients that may not be readily available to be funded by the NHS Trust:3. raises funds and receives contributions from persons or organisations by way of subscription, covenant, donation, legacy or otherwise

TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF PENRITH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Friends of Christ's College supports the education and welfare of students at Christ's College funding educational resources and activities. We operate from Christ's College, we offer support to all students to enhance their academic experience and personal development at the College. We raise funds via secondhand uniform sales and other fundraising events such as raffles and online fundraising.

We raise much needed additional funds to support projects and events where there are real benefits derived for all the children by arranging a series of fundraising events throughout the school year. We encourage participation from the children and their parents to ensure that the events are successful, at the same time as providing a fun and entertaining programme which complements school life.

This partnership of staff, parents, and friends organises social events, as well as raising money for various projects to assist the school.

Friends Of William De Yaxley (FOWDY) is an organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. FOWDY brings together parents, teachers and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. Money raised is spent on things that the school budget does not cover for the benefit of the pupils.

The Friends of Hatchlands Primary School undertake fundraising activities within the parent cohort, and their extended network, organising participation events on behalf of the school cohort, in addition to raising awareness and promoting the Hatchlands Primary School within the local area, and supporting the parent cohort where necessary.

Contribute to the maintenance of the Church of St Mary's, Over

We are a PTA. Money has been raised during the year through various events such as a Summer Fair and Christmas Fair; cake, ice-cream and 2nd hand uniform sales; and Bag2school collections. This has allowed us to support the school and its pupils in various ways. In particular, this year we have paid for new playground markings.

The objects of the charity are the promotion and advancement of the Roman Catholic religion by supporting the Pope through the dissemination of the teachings of the Church and the establishment and maintenance of a fund, the income and capital of which are to be applied to assist in defraying the expenses of the Pope in furthering his apostolic ministry.

The Friends of Guildford County School is the parent and teacher association (PTA) for Guildford County School. A charity whose aim is to advance & enhance the education of the pupils by working to build and maintain positive relationships within the school community, including organising social opportunities for both children and adults, and providing resources, facilities and experiences.

Raising funds for the preservation, repair, restoration and improvement of St Michael's Church, Bray including its churchyard and St Michael's Hall, and provision of articles for use in worship at the Church; also support for music and other charitable activities in the parish.
