The objects of the friends are to maintain restore and preserve, for the benefit of the public, the fabric and furnishings of the parish church and churchyard of All Saints, Hitcham, in order to preserve and protect one of the finest churches in Suffolk as a place of Christian worship and as the architectural centrepiece of the village.

To forge links between Ainthorpe Primary School and the local community and to raise funds to provide facilities and activities for parents, carers, and children within our locality.

In 2025 the trustees hosted activities towards fulfilling the objectives of the trust; these included a concert of music by Arthur Sullivan, the AGM and talk about the history of St Hubert's Church, a Midsummer Sun event and the popular annual Musical Picnic.Recent financial support has been given towards the restoration programme, resulting in repairs to the porch and a new drainage system.

Friends of Roman Aldborough (FORA) provide a series of lectures open to members and the public on Roman history and related topics and site visits linked to the talks. Members offer weekly guided tours of Roman Aldborough Town site, talks to local group meetings, work with Cambridge University on their digs in Aldborough and assist English Heritage who manage the Aldborough site.

Raise funds by running 'fairs/fetes' etc, raffles and social events.Spend money raised on a mixture of social/fun activities for the school children, subsidise school trips and some curricular activities.

The Friends of Therfield Heath is a voluntary group working alongside the Conservators of Therfield Heath and Greens to promote and encourage the use of, and access to, Therfield Heath, including organising events, raising awareness of the related bye-laws and regulations and encouraging conservation protection, and improvement of the natural environment, and improved facilities for the users.

To further such charitable purposes (charitable under English law) as the trustees see fit in particular by the support of "Chasdei Naomi" the Israeli charity established in Bnei Berak in the state of Israel with a particular focus on the relief of poverty and the advancement of education.

We are a Parent Teacher Association raising extra funds for our local Primary School.

We are an organisation of some 100 members who each pay a subscription. We also run fundraining events eg. car boot sale, fun evening . Our Funds go to maintain the church building .
