We raise funds by holding several events during the school year. Funds are spent to enhance the school experience of Ark Blacklands Primary Academy pupils. A proportion of funds are allocated annually to each year group to be spent on workshops/trips. The remaining funds are used for extra books/ICT equipment, play equipment etc. Any staff member can request funding by applying to the charity.

To maintain, repair,restore, improve and reconstruct the fabric of the church of St Mary's the Virgin, Peldon, including it's monuments, fixtures,fittings, furniture,stained glass, ornaments and other chattels together with the churchyard for the benifit of the public.

Fund raising at school activities have included :-Cake and sweets sale, Christmas fair, Summer end of term party, bingo nights and discos. We also have a Lottery Club.

The charity holds events for the children and families of the school to attend in a way to raise funds to enhance the activities and experiences for the whole school. These events are held at the school or within the village that the school is located.

The charity works to promote the conservation of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Oxfordshire. The charity does this through participation in public consultation processes and public communication, and may in certain circumstances challenge the decisionmaking of public bodies if it believes they have not complied with their legal responsibilities to the Cotswolds AONB.

We raise funds by organising a variety of activities like quiz and film nights, Halloween and Easter trails, raffles and competitions to develop effective relationships within the staff, pupils, parents and others associated with the school. Our team consists of parent volunteers and staff. Our purpose is to raise funds to enhance the children's leaning environment, to provide additional opportunities for social integration and enrich the curriculum for children of all ages at the school. We have purchased equipment for the school. Examples of our work include discos, summer fun days and coffee afternoons.

The Friends of St. James' Church exists to support the repair, maintanance and improvement, of this lovely Church, by way of grants.

We are a dedicated group of 'friends', who hold several successful social events, including a traditional May Day Fete, and a christmas fair, as well as several other events throughout the year. We aim to provide an enhanced school experience for all pupils.

Purchases items for the whole school benefit from the school development plan.
