Friends of Shirehampton Primary provides activities and fundraising opportunities for the students and families of Shirehampton Primary School. We organise activities such as discos, fairs, and cake sales to raise money for resources that the school needs, as well as providing fun opportunities for the students to engage socially with their peers.

Our Parents and Friends Association works with the whole school community, including the parish to put on a range of events and activities, for example, fun days, family nights, discos, sponsored events. We hold fundraising events to raise money which is used to enhance the school learning environment at Bramfield C of E Primary

Friends of Ridley Park organise the hire and management of the pavilion for the benefit of the local community. Activities include gardening, tree planting, nature projects, talks, a bird screen area and heritage projects. Throughout the year, we carry out clean ups and litter picks in addition to fundraising for improvements within the park.

Assistance in the maintenance of the fabric of the parish church of St. Mildred's, Canterbury and in its preservation & protection and the promotion of its use for various social purposes by local residents & others.
