Organising events and street collections, such as a summer Gala and annual Fireworks display. Provide assistance to local bodies and charities such as Children's Hospice, nursery groups and Senior Citizens meeting groups, schools sports clubs and other worthy causes. Since March 2020 we have operated a temporary foodbank and supported three Women's Refuges in N. Wales with food donations

General fund raising for the distribution of grants to local, national and international causes.

We fund raise to support charitable work in which members can feel a personal involvement. During the year our major gifts have have supported Rotary Foundation, together with 1 International and several local charities

Glastonbury Stewarding, Wessex Beer Festival, Cycle Challenge & various others.

Various fund-raising activities or help with manpower in support of local, national and international good causes.

We collect monies by fundraising events and by income from the Public Trustee. The latter is as a result of a legacy from a deceased member.During the administration of the trust was transferred from the Public Trustee to Standard Life.

The Rotary Club raises funds through a wide range of small activities and grants funds to other local charities performing work in the UK and overseas, and to Rotary Clubs overseas to direct locally to charitable causes.

Fundraising events - Swimfest Gala, Race Nights, Millionaires Evening, Barn-dance, Musical events, Quiz nights and Santa Fun Run.Public Service operations include stewarding of Town Council organised Chistmas and Feast Week events. Organising School Young Chef, Design and Writing & competitions.We support local charities & good causes as well as National & International charities & appeals.

Raising money for local, national and international organisations. e.g. local schools, hospitals, hospices, Enfield Alzheimer's Association, Macmillan Nurses, Enfield Crossroads etc.Internationally, we raise money for Rotary Foundation and Rotary Aqua and Shelterboxes.The money is raised through Christmas Float Collections, Firework Displays and events such as quiz nights and charity dinners.
