Scout Group

As a Scout Group we undertake all activates provided by the Scout association, by offering a progressive training scheme of physical activities, skills, team building and residential activities. With the aim to promote the physical, intellectual and social development of our members so helping them become responsible citizens and members of their community.

Camping and Outdoor Adventures

To educate and promote interest in astronomy and allied subjects, through scout groups, schools and other groups such as round tables women's institute etc. and to provide a meeting place lecture room and equipment for the use of both members and general public.

we deliver worthwhile youth programmes for each section which has included; cooking and sports competitions, archery, climbing, axe throwing and hillwalking activities along with cultural, environmental and social activities. we have also delivered a range of nights away experiences from sleepovers to four day expeditions including an international expedition in the Republic of Ireland.
