St Hilda's has an active beaver, cub & scout section providing activities and friendship for girls and boys aged 6 to 14 years.

PROVIDING SCOUTING ACTIVITIES TO YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 6 TO 14 YEARS, VIA BEAVERS, CUBS & SCOUTS.THE 1ST KIMBOLTON SCOUT GROUP IS LOCALLY LED AND LOCALLY RUN BY VOLUNTEERS. ALL FUNDRAISING HAS TO BE FOUND LOCALLY. WE ARE AFFLIATED NATIONALLY WITH THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.

YOUTH GROUP

At the 34th scout group we aim to help give all young people in the area the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities, both indoors and outdoors, while learning valuable new skills for life.

We are part of the Scout Association and we are one of 42 scouting groups in the Croydon District. We are the only Air Scout Group in the Croydon District. We provide scouting activities to young people from the age of 6 - 15 both indoors and outdoors. We take the children away on trips and camps and the older children enjoy flying activities. We have children in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

3rd Eastwood (St Mary's) Scout Group provides activities for boys and girls in the Beavers (6 yrs - 8 yrs), cubs (8 yrs - 10 1/2 yrs) and scouts (10 1/2 yrs - 14 yrs). These activities are aimed at encouraging social and life skills: independence, initiative, leadership and survival. They attend camps (e.g. canoeing) where they utilise these skills.

The Group runs a Cub pack and a Scout troop providing activities for young people between the ages of 8 and 15.

To help to educate, develop and enhance local childrens life and to be involved in the surrounding areas sports, outdoor activities and fund raising activities.
