General Charitable purposes

Fund raising is by means of a house to house collection at Christmas and numerous events during the year. Donations are made to various rotary international projects, disasters, national and local organisations, charities and activities involving children.

Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club Trust is a charity whose objects are to assist sporting, welfare, educational and religious projects by financial support at the discretion of the trustees. The charity raises funds for these projects by receiving donations from the members of the Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club and by organising fund raising events.

Limited fundraising opportunities due to Covid 19 but club has been successful on several fronts gaining a grant from LCIF as well as limited local activities. Several good causes have been supported and we are continuing this with a very successful Christmas effort for the next financial year.

We raise money through attending gala's with a fundraising activity, collecting in supermarkets and, operating Santa's Grottos and Christmas prize Draws, plus other activities. We then use the money to help people in need within the community eg helping the elderly, vulnerable people, the homeless, people with disabilities, young people, children and families.

RAISING MONEY AND PROVIDING DONATIONS TO OTHER CHARITIES AND NEEDY CAUSES OPERATING BOTH IN THE UK AND ABROAD.

To support young people through schools and organisations; channel funds we have raised into supporting other charitable organisations and help in individual cases of need.

To raise funds to enable financial and other assistance to needy persons and organisations in our local community and also to Lions International projects.

To apply the capital and income of the charity in the relief of the poor and needy or to such other charitable institution, society or object.

WE DONATE TO LOCAL YOUTH AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS, CHARITIES FOR THE ELDERLY, THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, DESERVING INDIVIDUALS, ORGANISATIONS AND THE UNDER-PRIVILEGED. WE DONATE TO OTHER CHARITY GROUPS AND TO INTERNATIONAL AID VIA LIONS INTERNATIONAL THE CHARITY RUNS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY MAINLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TO ENABLE IT TO ACHIEVE ITS OBJECTIVES.

The Club serves the local community as well as people internationally. They work with people who are elderly, disabled and / or have disadvantaged benefits, also the wider community by making Southend on Sea a better place to live and work. They also make grants to some national and international appeals (e.g. to relieve poverty, respond to disabilities), extending the public benefit overseas.

To raise monies through fundraising activities and donate to deserving causes. To organise Service activities to help those in need in the community.

The charity decides annually, its targets for the next 12 months. Mainly, these targets are met by a) raising necessary funds in a variety of ways. b) by providing practical help.

Morley & District Lions Club (CIO), incorporating WF3 Kindness, is the local community charity for Morley and the surrounding area. We volunteer our services and make grants to help local residents and not for profit organisations. As a constituent of Lions Clubs International we cooperate with other Lions Clubs locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Fund raising for good causes UK and International as a Rotary Club

At the discretion of the trustees, the charity provides support for elderly and infirm residents of the old London Borough of Edmonton and it it supports organisations and projects within the London Borough of Enfield that are of benefit the community.

Evergreen Care Trust- providing services for the elderly and vulnerable members of society in Stamford area.Friends of Stamford Rec- helping to enable full use of the town's facilities for the benefit of all community members.Myosotis Trust, Barlad. Casa Esme Day Centre -provision of expert help in assessment/welfare needs of children with wide range of special needs.

Raising money for charity by attending local fetes and street collections. This money is distributed mainly local charities and good causes.

TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS BY MAKING GRANTS TO THEM.
