The Rotary Club of Titsey and District makes grants and provides services to organisations.Its various fundraising activities support the needs of the local community as well as specific national and international campaigns.We don't provide funds directly to individuals, we pay for, or carry out, supporting services.

We help young people, disabled people & people in need in the Wyre Forest area. We also might respond to emergencies Nationally & Internationally.

Donations to local, National and International charitable causes. Providing a day out at the Fair for special needs children and adults. Sponsoring young people to pursue educational/humanitarian expeditions.

Grants are made from the funds raised by members of Southborough and District Lions Club to considered deserving individuals and groups and are only ever made on a majority vote at the regularly convened meetings of the club and its Charities Trustees for that purpose.

Several fund raising events during the year, including a Christmas sleigh collection. The club is supported by the Inner Wheel Club of Roborough. For the relief of the poor and needy and to or for such other charitable purposes etc, as the Roborough Rotary Club shall deem from time to time.

Supporting the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfilment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programmes. Focus on the specific needs of the local community through charities and organisations.

General Charitable Activities

Crewkerne Lions CIO is a service organisation who raises money through charitable events for the local community, as well as Lions Clubs International Foundation. Fundraising activities include Easter Egg raffles, Duck Races, Tractor Runs, Bingo, Horse and Dog Shows. On occasions, we also marshal events and profits from these are paid into the charity account after admin costs have been deducted.

We cover a wide geographical area in which we fundraise and serve our communities. We raise money through a variety of methods such as sponsored and social events. We serve those in need in whatever ways we can and this includes local, national and international projects such as Romanian Pride, an annual visit to children's homes to 'give children a childhood'.

Our primary aim is to help the people of York, the U.K. and elsewhere across the world, who are less fortunate. The Club supports children and youth, elderly people and those with disabilities, and all mankind. Our Rocking Rudolph schedule at Christmas is our major fundraiser.The club manufactures and distributes toiletry packs to hospitals, and collects used spectacles for recycling, and others

We raise funds & make donations in support of both local & national good causes. We make contributions to Rotary International's Polio Plus programme dedicated to the eradication of world polio. We contribute to the Rotary International Foundation, which aims to advance world understanding, goodwill, & peace through the improvement of health, the support of education & the alleviation of poverty.
