The objects of the charity is to apply both the capital and income to or for the relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purposes, institution, society or object as The Rotary Club of Ware in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The charity holds fund-raising events in its locality which is Brigg and surrounding villages. It then makes grants to individuals and groups in its locality. In addition, limited grants are made to Lions Clubs International international appeals and in relief of disasters.

Colne Valley Lions Club serves the villages in and around the Colne Valley area to the west of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.Fund raising activities include annual Santa Sleigh, Easter Egg Raffle, Marsden 10 miler and Beer Festival.We also 'serve' the community by planting daffodil bulbs (over 30,000), planting trees (over 16,000), plus have provided 5 defibrillators and 5 community benches.

Fundraising continued with golf day, corporate party night, christmas draw, santa claus grotto, street collections, etc. Donations made to individuals and organisations, christmas hampers to senior citizens, panto for handicapped children, local schools,British heart foundation,Macmillan cancer care, U K armed forces memorial fund,Scunthorpe church of England school,Girl guides ,Boy scouts.

In Crickhowell the club carries out fund raising events: running the County recycling site, annual Duck Race, to raise funds for local and international charities recognised by Rotary. We also participate in organising Rotary "Youth competitions and Youth Leadership Awards.

Various fund raising events in the Holderness area in order to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Raising funds for general charitable purposes by means of charitable events and the provision of charitable services.

The principal objective of the charity is to undertake fundraising activities and to distribute the monies raised to a range of local charitable organisations, to Rotary Foundation and through Rotary International and Rotary District appeals, to a range of projects including world disasters and famine relief.

Hungerford Rotary Club is an active member of Rotary International and is a strong supporter of the community, with active links to schools in the area and to organisations such as the Town Council, St. John's Ambulance, Chain Voluntary Service and many others. We also support national and international charitable causes.
