We raise funds from the public at local community events, supermarket "bucket" collections, pub raffles of supplied Chocolate Santas & Easter Eggs, and donations from events where we assist organisers, e.g. managing parking. Donations are made to local organisations supporting Youth, Elderly and Disabled; Hospice and individuals, plus regional, national & worldwide via Lions Clubs International.

The club raises money by fundraising events and donations from members of the public. It uses this money to help children and young persons. The elderly and people disabilities. The Black Mountains Lions Club will consider many projects that fall within the following five guidelines, these are Vision, the Environment, Hunger, Paediatric Cancer and Diabetes. As well as providing grants to these deserving causes within the Powys and Herefordshire Areas, District and Multiple District Lions Club, Black Mountains Lions Club undertakes a number of community service projects.
