Play School and Social Activities

The PTFA is focused in two areas:1. to organize events and schemes for fundraising2. to implement social activities within the community to bring together children, parents/carers and teachers. The PTFA works very close with the school to improve life at school for the children and the community.

We are a multi purpose charity that exists for the benefit of residents of the Edgehill Estate. We run a number of projects on the Estate including; Ofsted registered Childcare, a community cafe and an older people's social club

Lifelong learning and social activities for over 50's.

The Club is located in Littleover Lane, Derby, DE23 6JL providing sports, fellowship and social activities for its members and the community. Cricket, Crown Green Bowls and Tennis are played at the ground. New members are always welcome. Bowls and Tennis are played recreationally with senior cricket played in the Derbyshire County League. Cricket is also available for juniors aged 5 - 17 years.

The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. Production of amateur plays with reasonably priced tickets available to all members of the local community. Doncaster Deaf Society serves and provides a centralised, safe base meeting point of social contact for wellbeing. Services cover BSL Advocacy, Advice & Information to the Doncaster Deaf Community Borough-wide and the provision of five BSL Groups who organise a range of activities & day/weekend trip from early years-elderly: OAP Club, Social Club, Happy Hands Playgroup, Leisure Club & Drama Group.

The fund assists service personnel to more effectively perform their roles within the Armed Forces. It provides and supports mess facilities and social activities. This enables service personnel to face the challenges and danger associated with military service by developing and maintaining teamwork; fitness; character, spirit and morale.

Our charity was formed to maintain and improve the village hall. This not only includes facilities but also the opportunities for local residents to use it for sports and social clubs as well as an educational centre for children.

The Fellowship supports our members who live in the community and residential care, all our members are supported by the Welfare and Activities Co-ordinator, along with the use of the Fellowship minibus for social activities throughout the year. We meet on the second Thursday of each month and there are additional activities throughout the year, such as Day Trips and theatre trips.

Provision of educational study and social activities for members who are of the Third Age (post full time employment).
