To provide social activities and moral support for local deaf people

The charity strives to improve the health and well being of older people in Shropshire by reducing loneliness and isolation. This is achieved by providing peer support, advice and information and by the deployment of volunteer led meetings and social events offering the means to participate in community and social activities for many older people who would otherwise be unable to take part.

Our main aim is to reach out to people from different background through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to empower young people who have lost hope through the gospel and engaging them in different social activities.

To provide and promote facilities and social activities for those with cerebal palsy and other physically handicapped persons in and around the Widnes area

To support the religious and other charitable activities of the parish of St Mary's, Little Crosby, Merseyside and to support the upkeep and repair of the fabric and contents of the church buildings. To enhance and promote the social activities of the village of Little Crosby and generally to stimulate public interest in the history and buildings of the parish and the locality.

General social activities for the community including providing space for youth club

FOBS is Belmont Primary Schools equivalent of a parent teacher association.Our aim is to provide & support the school to benefit the children through fun and social activities. These raise much needed funds to finance additional equipment and resources for the school.

As we have no school, shop or public house, the village hall is therefore the only focal point for the village. It provides a facility that is available to all the residents , various committees,social groups and is available for private functions to the villagers. The elected committee & trustees oversee the use, maintenance & provision of all the facilities that are available to all.

Four Swans Vision is dedicated to improving the lives of Visually Impaired people. We are a social group based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. We have group meetings on the first Wednesday of the month. We provide social trips out to places of interest, Art Workshops especially tailored for the Visually Impaired, and Visually Impaired tennis on most Fridays at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

Providing a social club for disabled adults and children giving respite for parents and carers.Club nights are every 1st3rd & 5th Tuesday each month we provide arts and crafts,quizes,cooking,games etc.

Manage a community green space & promote community spirit.The grass and the trees on the park are maintained for people and wildlife.Children play games and sports on the park, mostly these are informal helping socialisation.There are a series of social activities organised which local people attend.The informal play and the organised activities all help in building a community.

To provide social activities for families with children who may have special educational or additional learning needs. To raise funds to provide resources and activities to enhance their education and extended activities beyond school. To encourage and support the involvement of parents, carers, friends and families.

Religious and social activities. We hold our actvities at the Wimbledon Community Centre, Haydons Road, Wimbledon on a monthly basis. Most of our members belong to the ethnic minorities and are in the main senior citizens

PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY FACILITY FOR USE BY THE VILLAGERS AND RESIDENTS IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS. THE HALL IS USED FOR VILLAGE EVENTS AND IS USED BY A NUMBER OF GROUPS AND CLUBS FOR REGULAR SPORTING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

To advance the Christian religion in Greater London and beyond for the benefit of public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distribution of Christian faith literature to enlighten others about Christian religion.To provide and improve the life conditions of vulnerable people through recreational, social activities etc

To promote and organise recreational and social activities for visually impaired adults in Epsom, Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Young Sound Vision is for children who live in Stockport, Cheshire who are Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Blind or visually Impaired to help support them and their families. YSV arranges social activities.

Support & Advice to the elderly, including a weekly lunch club, volunteer transport service & neighbourhood social activities.

Bristol ACF fund raising consists of bag packing at local supermarkets as well as donations from local individuals and organisations. During the past year we have been able to assist cadets to attend annual camp, have bought equipment to enhance training facilities and have provided funds for social activities that benefit all our young people.
