OUR CADETS ARE FROM THE TEIGNBRIDGE AND SURROUNDING AREAS, SOME OF WHICH HAVE HIGH LEVELS OF DEPRIVATION. BY KEEPING YOUNG PEOPLE OCCUPIED AND OFF THE STREETS WE HELP AND ENCOURAGE THEM TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE ADULTHOOD.

Helping young uuderprivileged and vulnerable children in both scouting and guiding activities to have agood start in life

Activities for young people from 6 to 18 years of age in uniformed organisation on a educational basis for the development of young people.

We are a scout group that provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged between 6 & 14 years old from Sutton Valence, Chart Sutton, East Sutton and the surrounding villages. In scouting we believe that young people develop most when they are learning by doing, when they are given responsibility and work in teams, making friends and getting outdoors.

mainly used for Girlguiding meetings - for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers (girls age 4-18). The hall is also used for local meetings, nursery, holidays and social events

The Aim of the Scout Association is promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local communities.The Group caters for young people within the Mid Devon Villages of Tedburn St. Mary,Cheriton Bishop,Yeoford,Hittisleigh,Dunsford,Crockernwell,Whitstone.

Responsbile for the maintenance of Hetley House building and grounds. This premises is used by the FLITWICK District rainbows, brownies guides and rangers for weekly meetings. Flitwick District is part of Girl Guiding.

We give girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in Oxted District

to provide activities for girls and young women through the programme of Girlguiding to help them develop individually so that they can make a positive contribution to the community and the wider world.

Education and training of young people age 12 to 18 using the customs of the Royal Navy in many subjects and the aim is to produce good and upright citizens for the future.

Running 3 sections of the Horrabridge Scout Group - Beavers,Cubs and Scouts.This includes weekly meetings for all sections, regular camps and trips, fundraising events during year.We also have our own field in the village, with an equipment store, built with the help of the local community and our members.
