We employ staff & provide support to the local Methodist Churches for people to meet together for worship & teaching. We encourage & support the Churches in their mission to serve their local communities; e.g youth clubs, luncheon clubs, toddlers groups. We manage projects with specific vulnerable groups within our communities - young people, children & families, refugees & people seeking asylum.

We are English Plus, a Christian charity that supports new communities in Norwich to learn English, form friendships and to make this city a home. We work with diverse ethnic communities including Asylum Seekers, Refugees and their families. Services include Youth & Community work, advocacy, hate crime support, education & training. We support individuals with a range of issues. These issues are complex due to immigration status, racism & discrimination. We deliver youth provision, community outreach, group sessions, activities and events.

Local Church activities public worship,weddings, funerals & child dedications. Parent and toddler group, marriage courses, youth group for 11-18's and kids club for 8-11's. The charity conducts Christian activities like teaching, preaching, and counseling. For charitable endeavours, we address complex social challenges, focusing on nuanced needs. Our activities practically support the vulnerable and disadvantaged people with low -income, domestic abuse victims, mental health issues, asylum seekers, homeless . We regularly adapt activities to maximize positive impact.

We offer radical hospitality to all sanctuary seekers in Burnley, a warm welcome and inclusion in our community, including safe social cafe space, wellbeing activities, sharing quality donated goods, conversational ESOL, an Advice& Advocacy service, a positive move on service for people transitioning to refugee status and encouraging our clients input and ownership of our charity at all levels.

Pastoral care and practical support to women affected by prostitution and human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Founded in 2009 under the leadership of Sisters Adoratrices, the charity is a continued expression of the Sisters' unique charism & apostolic mission, which is over 150 years old with currently 153 social projects in 23 countries supporting over 11,000 women annually.

We target work with groups that face disadvantage including economic, social and educational disadvantages. We promote celebration of difference through single gender work, asylum seeker and refugee work, and other marginalised group work.We offer training to unemployed residents in the deprived Durham Coalfields area and work on an outreach basis to offer volunteering roles to those in need.

Income is received from annual share dividend. This is donated directly to charities chosen by Trustees. A full list of charities supported is given in our Trustees Annual Report .Charities we support included those working in economically underdeveloped countries, and for Refugees, Homelessness, Disability, Carers, Children.All annual income received, is paid out to charities in that year.

Women seeking asylum in Cardiff who would otherwise birth alone are supported with regular visits from volunteers during late pregnancy; with comfort measures and nurturing presence throughout labour and delivery; then home visits to 8 weeks postnatal. We increase women's sense of their own value, their access to information, awareness of options and signpost to appropriate services.

WAST is a self help women's asylum seeker led organization building the members capacity for survival in the asylum system, developing members, confidence, basic English cultural understanding, new skills and providing opportunities to take part in activities which help overcome the trauma of their experiences and which also serve to raise awareness and understanding in their local communities.
