Cylch Meithrin Nelson provide pre-school early years education through the medium of Welsh to children aged 2 - 4 years. Funding is through fees paid by the parents, which helps to cover the wages of the staff. ASCape is the only charity of its kind dedicated to improving the lives of autistic children and young adults (4-25) in West Dorset. We support children and their families through a range of family-based activities, offering a successful program of social groups and family activities free or at low-cost for all age ranges, from the very youngest children through to young people over the age of 18.

The Centre is a place of worship where the five daily prayers, the Friday jumu'a prayers, the tarawih prayers during Ramadan and the two 'Id prayers are observed. It is also concerned with teaching children and adults to memorise the Qur'an (the meaning of 'Qur'an' is 'Recitation' and the meaning of 'Darul Qurra' is 'House of Recitation') and to understand its meanings in Arabic, Urdu and English.
