Home-Start is a voluntary organisation operating in the Erewash area. Offering trained volunteers to support families under stress with at least one child under 5 years of age. Volunteers offer regular home visiting emotional, practical and befriending support.

We deliver concerts (orchestral, choral, ensemble, chamber choir), recitals (wind, string & piano quintets, quartets and trios, vocal solo and duets), and opera performances and community projects, as well as free workshops and masterclasses for school children, a free children's choir and concerts and free open-air family concerts and pop-up public concerts in Hastings and the surrounding towns.

The charity runs a weekly foodbank in the London Borough of Islington which is open to all residents of of Islington and the surrounding area without the need for referral. Because we are set up to ensure that people with financial difficulties do not go hungry we do not require a referral. Fresh and staple food, essential toiletries and household items are given to individuals and families.

Recruit and train parents from the community who then provide support to families who are: experiencing difficulties; that have at least one child under the age of seven.The support provided can be emotional and practical but it is provided in the families own home by a trained volunteer
