Home-Start Banbury & Chipping Norton is a voluntary organisation which is committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their own homes helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

The word 'Shalom' means peace and the main goal of Shalom ministries is to bring true and lasting peace to individuals and families through prayer, guidance and spiritual messages delivered through all forms of media. Shalom Media also conduct regional retreats, leadership conferences, and intercessory prayers. We have strong presence in print, TV and internet.

Roots4life is a community action project set up to tackle childhood obesity. To achieve this we intend to teach cooking skills, horticulture and the importance of nutrition. We also include exercise and mindfulness to support mental well being. It is hoped to include families, schools and community groups.

The relief of financial hardship by:(a) providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to individuals and families in need(b) such other means, including the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory services.

The charity provides high quality, independent, specialist advice, advocacy and information for disabled people, their families and carers enabling greater choice and improvement in their quality of life. This is achieved by, amongst others, undertaking benefit checks, representation at tribunals, disability awareness training, access auditing, life coaching and opportunities for further learning.

We employ staff & provide support to the local Methodist Churches for people to meet together for worship & teaching. We encourage & support the Churches in their mission to serve their local communities; e.g youth clubs, luncheon clubs, toddlers groups. We manage projects with specific vulnerable groups within our communities - young people, children & families, refugees & people seeking asylum.

We offer: Peer led help and support, Solution focused workshops, Inter-agency support and introductions to local support groups, Preventative and awareness talks in schools and community groups, A safe place to go 6 days a week with hygeine facilities, Food and clothing bank for people suffering poverty, Outreach work to the most vulnerable in the community, Family support.

Spiral works with young people that have/are being effected by bullying or at higher risk of being targeted by bullying. We offer 1-21 support and group work to build emotional resilience in young people and their families.

Assisting victims of domestic violence, forced marriage, FGM,and women affected by honour killings in their family to rebuild their lives and integrate into the wider society. The organisation offers workshops, group and individual counselling sessions, advice and support on an outreach basis. All in which focus on our primary aim, the well-being of our clients.

Such activities as the trustees determine. No funding requests are solicited or acknowledged.

The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among women and their families whose first language is not English who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social and economic position by providing: education and training in English language and vocational skills and social and recreational facilities and events involving the local community.

We support charities where our donations create lasting impact, including encouraging young people to pursue STEM subjects, inspiring future engineers, supporting armed forces personnel & their families, & aiding community charities that promote well-being. On occasion, our Trustees use their discretion to assist other charities , so we respond effectively to diverse & emerging community needs.

We recruit train and support home visiting volunteers to support vulnerable families with at least one child under 5yrs in North Somerset

Speke Baptist Church activities are open to anyone. We run Sunday services, Junior Church, bible-study groups, youth and childrens groups, an elderly lunch club, evangelistic events (eg Family Fun Days and special services), a group for adults with learning dificulties and undertake regular visiting of seniors & local families. We also provide rooms for use by local community groups.

The development and education of children and young people through running a pre-school for the benefit of families in South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West Berkshire.
