Family United is committed to tackling social isolation and loneliness within the MRU Community in the UK. This Community consist mainly of West Africans living in the UK. Our approach is to provide rounded support services to over 60s that are suffering or at risk of suffering from social isolation and/or loneliness.

We are a Community centre, holding a variety of different activities for all ages. These start from family bingo, to coffee morning, youth club, dance classes, gentle exercise classes. We also hire the building for private and family functions.

The nursery provides high quality childcare for families in the local area of Bodiam and surrounding villages, which enable working parents to pursue employment and full time careers to ensure that their children acquire social skills and pre school education essential to their development in a safe environment.

To relieve the mental and physical distress of drug and alcohol dependants by providing accommodation with links to treatment provision in a supportive environment. To assist in the relief of emotional distress of relatives, carers, friends, of drug/alcohol dependants by providing family support groups and links to other providers of care services.

We carry out various fundraising events throughout the year including charity gala balls, golf days, football events etc. We also opened a charity shop in July 2021 in Silver Street, Wellingborough where we sell donated goods to raise money. Money raised funds vital research into neuroblastoma. Our aim is to raise awareness and funds to help children and families affected by Neuroblastoma

Support families of children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs by giving them a voice within the community and local authority.Provide information and support to parent/carers around health, social care and education.Hold events for parent/carers, services and local support groups on important local and national issues.Represent members on strategic service groups.

THE CHARITY CONTINUES TO MEET ITS AIMS AND OBJECTIVES. WE CONTINUE TO SEND FAMILIES WITH CHRONICALLY SICK CHILDREN ON FABULOUS HOLIDAYS TO GIVE THE WHOLE FAMILY SOME WONDERFUL SMILES AND MEMORIES TO HELP THEM FACE THE FUTURE WHAT IT MAY BRING . THE CHARITY MAY ALSO ASSIST IN PROVIDING VARIOUS ITEMS SUCH AS EQUIPMENT TO AID THE COMFORT SUCH CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

The normal activities of a mainstream Christian Church. Sunday Services for worship of God and Bible teaching, Mid-week meetings for children, youth and adults including Bible Study and Prayer, work in the community including visiting, a monthly Luncheon Club. All activities are open to all in the community. Occasional publication of Christian literature for area wide distribution.

We provide a Sunday morning service, children's bible lessons, family services, house groups, prayer group, small discipleship groups, women's study group, men's study group. We also run a Mother and Toddler Group for the local community. Our activities are provided mainly, but not exclusively, in the Morriston (Swansea) area.

Building Better Futures International fosters the talents and skills of women and girls in Tamil Nadu, India, so they can lift themselves out of poverty permanently and is an enabler of self-help for families and communities to build their own futures. Every pound we raise goes directly on the Indian projects: all UK costs are met by Trustees and volunteers.

For the benefit of women worldwide who are socially and/or economically disadvantaged. We currently work in India with women who have HIV/Aids TB, mental illness or who are abused abandoned, raped and are sick or injured. We provide medical and social care. We encourage and facilitate rehabilitation back to community & family, & independent earning/employment.

Eric Knows provides training and employment support to disabled and autistic people. We work collaboratively with employment support agencies, colleges, universities, and other not for profit organisations. Eric Knows also operates to support SEND children, young people and their families whilst providing a safe space to flourish and thrive. We are primarily run by disabled and ND people.

we are mainly a donor organisation, providing sponsors, for the foster care project, administered by local AEDU units in Sri Lanka. It is devoted to the education and holistic development of orphans and other children traumatised and impoverished by the civil war. In targeting affected children, we also enable the build up of family units by placing disadvantaged children with foster families.

We are a Foodbank and hold the Trussell Trust franchise for Bridgwater. We issue our Red Vouchers to 39 agencies in and around Bridgwater the CAB, Housing Associations, Social Services, Primary Schools, Salvation Army etc etc.If the holders see a family in need they offer the person in crisis one of our Red Vouchers, they then bring the voucher to us and we give food in exchange.

Life Changers charity activities are aimed at Empowering lives for positive Change using the Knowledge of the Christian Faith and the running of inclusive community projects. Activities are designed to improve social integration, promoting family life, embrace cultures, reduce gaps, marginalise isolation, promoting economic and social aspects aimed at facilitating relief of deprivation.

Families in Telford Project offers drop-in groups each week day during term time for pre-school children and their parents/carers, facilitated by well qualified and experienced play workers. We plan play and learning activities for the children and encourage parents to become fully involved.We offer holistic support to families and aim to involve them fully in the activities of the Project.

We aim to remove physical or financial barriers preventing access to theatre. Specialising in interactive family musicals we place children with or without disabilities at the heart of our work. We run a fully inclusive theatre skills club, engaging children with disabilities or from a disadvantaged background. We offer respite for parents/carers, and work opportunities for underrepresented groups
