CDH UK provides support and help to families affected by the medical condition Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). Anyone with any connection or interest in CDH is welcome to access the services we offer. We raise awareness and provide social activities. We contribute to medical research including awarding grants from our own research fund and participating in international networking.

The VSF's mission is to provide an opportunity for the more fortunate in society to help those who are disadvantaged by contributing financially and by volunteering time. The VSF promotes existing charities and individual initiatives in developed countries which strive to bring marginalized individuals and families into society. Support is in the form of Board approved grants and/or loans.

The Objects of the Charity is the provision of Leisure Activities for Chidren of the Orthodox JewishCommunity, and the provision of financial help for needy families.The above objects were continued with during the year.

Peut-Etre Theatre (PET) is driven by the desire to create unforgettable early theatrical experiences for young audiences. The shows effectively combine the visual, the physical and the musical for the enjoyment and inspiration of children and families.

We support struggling families referred to us by front-line professionals, by providing essential children's items from one family to another across Thurrock and surrounding areas.

Providing grants to a charity based in Albania who provide meals and support to the elderly, support to families through a Family Link Programme and support and education to children through kindergarten all generally based in/from day centres. Also support other projects on an adhoc basis.

Supporting various charities and charitable projects (although not usually from unsolicited applications).

The Hub is a centre for the whole community. It has sessions for families, young people and senior citizens. It provides counselling, IT courses and a place of safety to all who need it. It operates in and around Henley-in-Arden.

At Bradford Abbas Pre-school, our aim is to provide positive experiences for our children in a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment. We aim to enrich their lives and their learning through play within a relaxed atmosphere. We welcome our children and their families into our organisation, valuing everyones needs as individuals.

The principal activity of the company in the year under review was for the public benefit of the advancement of health and the saving of lives in particular by:1. supporting, funding and facilitating research for rare brain cancers like Gliomatosis Cereberi;2. raising awareness and providing support for families and patients inflicted with brain cancers, in particular Gliomatosis Cerebe

Preserve and protect good health among, and relieve the needs of, people living with Myotonic Dystrophy, their families and carers, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing information, help and support; (b) making financial donations to support research into Myotonic Dystrophy;(c) raising awareness of Myotonic Dystrophy within the general public, medical and scientific community

Maddie's Miracle activities are to provide services of perinatal and breastfeeding education, guidance and support to women and families around the UK, particularly those who are vulnerable, isolated, disabled or in areas of deprivation where no support services exist. Maddie's Miracle also advocates to dispel stigma and discrimination surrounding breastfeeding.

Providing music therapy and expression through music, art and play for sick or disabled children and teenagers in hospital, school or wherever needed. To support sick or disabled children, young people and their families providing special requirements as necessary to alleviate the trauma, stress and suffering of the whole family unit.

We are rural community playgroup who are passionate about child development. We work closely with our family's and celebrate diversity within staff and the family that attend. We supply learning through play activity's that are tailored to the individual child. We accept children from 2 years old and can cater for all needs, and accept all government funding.

To provide relief and aid to those persons suffering from narcolepsy throughout the United Kingdom . We increase professional, political and public awareness and understanding of the needs of people with narcolepsy, their families and carers and deliver relevant sustainable services that satisfy the needs of people with narcolepsy and their families and those who care for them.

Holistic support, guidance and care for young children and their families

We provide hampers to families and individuals in need. Our benefactors are typically nominated by Social Workers, Schools or other charities.

Activities of the charity are to relieve the needs of children, young people and families who are in need by reason of age, youth, disability, ill health, financial hardship or social economic circumstances including the provision of advice, information, education and training, mediation, counselling and support services as well as helping people meet their own needs in society.

We offer a confidential helpline and face to face counselling service for women and girls aged 14+ who have experienced rape or sexual abuse at any point in their life, furthermore we offer support and/or information to you, your friends and family.

Holds regular Orthodox church services, provides schooling in Greek language and culture, provides welfare services to members and their families and arranges various communal events throughout the year.

Suffolk Parent Carer Forum:* Work with and alongside, but independently, from the Local Authority, Education and Health Services in Suffolk.* Gather the collective voices and lived experience of local families with SEND aged 0-25. Through co-production they bring that voice into meetings to improve the quality of services.* Signpost to services, share information and run events.

Projects including Mother & Toddler group, Support group for carers, Support group and extended activities for those alone and/or isolated, Support group for families, After school youth drop in group, Fun & Lunch in School Holidays for those receiving free school meals, provision of Christmas Hampers to those most in need.

To promote family history and assist all those indviduals who wish to research their family history. This is facilitated through members of the society and anyone from the general public using the research centre and library, and through postal enquiries.The society holds family history events in the community within the two counties. There is a very active branch network, meetings open to all.

Daytime activities and social club for adults with learning disabilities. Alternate Saturday night social activities. Mencap Gateway Award Centre. Information and advice centre for adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families.

We aim to meet the individual needs of all children in our care. Promote positive attitudes to diversity and difference to all our children and families aiming to allow them to feel included, safe and valued. Children will be encoraged through play to develop their learning and development at a pace they dictate and are comfortable with.
