We have prepared informative leaflets on Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD), to spread awareness of the disease to medical establishments and raise awareness . We have established links with other charitable organisations who can provide complimentary services to families affected by MLD . We are advocates on behalf of affected families and have strong links to specialist centres.

To promote social engagement through sporting activities including Football, Bowling, Karate, Yoga.Other activities: support of a Brass Band, Youth Club, WI Ladies, Bestwood Ladies Group, Autism Group, Male Voice Choir & facilities for local and surrounding families to use.There is also support for the village Christmas Tree, parties and local events.

We are one church, with two buildings providing worship & prayer meetings & social activities. Facilities are used by many people from toddlers to seniors. We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We amalgamated and adopted the joint name of Cornerstone Family Church on 18/11/2018

Organise educational visits, seminars, lectures & exhibitions for children & their families. Social: Organise social gatherings to strengthen good relations with the community. Organise Eid parties. THAT as well as providing food/toiletry packs and clothes/sleeping bags to the homeless in Teignbridge, operates the Newton Abbot and Teignbridge food bank providing food and toiletry and moving in packs to individuals and families in crisis. This is operated with a voucher system. Vouchers are issued from doctors, schools, DWP, local authority, housing associations etc.

Fund raising to promote the work of the Haematology unit at Swansea NHS Trust, and related institutions in Wales, in the support of patients and their families diagnosed with blood cancer diseases e.g. Lymphoma, Leukaemia and Multiple Myeloma. This includes the purchase of equipment not normally provided by the NHS. Also to promote research and disseminate information related to blood cancer.

Relief of need, hardship & distress, and promotion of education, family life and recreation among the families of clergy & licensed lay workers of the Church of England in the Diocese of Chester.

St Thomas Evangelical Church of India UK Parish has been growing year on year currently with approximately 90 families scattered across various parts of the UK. We currently have regular services conducted in the following locations each month - Manchester, Leicester ,Dartford,Sunderland and Bristol where church members attend the service both physically and online.
