The Food Bank aims to help those who are unable to adequately feed themselves or their families through poverty or financial hardship by collecting and buying supplies of food and household basics. Distribution of donated supplies to referred clients takes place at The Salvation Army Church in Barton-upon-Humber on Tuesday and Friday afternoons or in emergency by contacting the duty officer.

We maintain a well kept village hall providing facilities for local and non local residents. We currently provide a centre for village activities such as Pilates, Dance Tuition, Yoga, Fitness etc. We also provide a meeting place for use by local organisations, the Village Primary School, by local people for weddings and other family gatherings and for the TMH community cinema. The hall amenity area is also used by various local organisations for village activities throughout each year.

We subsidies or free places to children who's families might not be able to pay. The subsidised places are in our orchestras and string groups, out wood wind band and ensembles.

Our Organisation is established to bring together the past pupils, teachers of Jaffna Central College and their families along with other wellwishers in the UK to function as a united body to support our community as well as provide support to our alma mater and current pupils achieve the best in education and sports.
