We give practical, spiritual and financial help to poor families and act as an agent in sponsoring children.

The promotion of the efficiency of The Rifles, its Regimental Associations and support for the Cadet Force Detachments in Shropshire and Herefordshire affiliated to the Regiment. The Charity assists those members of the Regiment and former regiments and their families who cannot be helped through other charitable funds.

Our Charity activities include providing various activities to promote development for our members such as specialised speech & language therapy, drama, music & signing sessions. Our 2 toy libraries are a resource open to any families, groups or individuals involved in providing daycare for children of all abilities, backgrounds and ages. We have an online booking system for lending out high quality toys, games and resources, including ones for children with additional needs, which aim to promote development and learning through play and are fun!

The charity provides a building that can be hired at reasonable cost to support local activities and family events.

The charity exists to prevent or relieve food poverty and need in Glastonbury and the surrounding BA6 and BA16 postcode area, mainly through the provision of emergency food parcels and other necessary items. Working with referral agencies, we aim to provide an individual or family with non-perishable and fresh food for a balanced diet for approximately a week.

FoG aims to advance the education and quality of life of pupils of Gillespie Primary School and their families. It builds relationships across the Gillespie community with a number of projects. The main aim for this year, is to enhance play areas, improving them for community use and assisting with the greening and improved suitability of the school's building and environment.

To further the Christian faith, through supporting those in Christian ministry, mission and service, or supporting projects that will effectively witness to others and bring relief and support to those in need.

Fundraising for our school, running events for the children and the parents, to build a social community within the school's family and the local community. Events include the May Fair, children's disco, cake sales, raffles, quiz night, cheese and wine evening, children's crafts and recycling schemes.
