PCCI provides a place for people to worship, learn and be a part of an extended family. We focus on the development of faith through the sharing of scripture, prayer, music and testimony. The churches assist members with personal enrichment through organized programs for men, ladies, youth and children. Churches are also involved in community development within the areas they are located.

The advancement of education of children in southern DR Congo for the public benefit by assisting in the provision of school buildings, equipment and staff. To relieve financial need and hardship in the DR Congo, in particular but not exclusively by providing child access to education, which their families could not otherwise afford.

A lay Catholic missionary association, which is intended to be a source of spiritual renewal within the Catholic Church. Principal purpose of the charity is split across both spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Whilst focusing on the spiritual journey of individuals and families through spreading the Word of God, we also give equal importance to help the least fortunate in our society.

Feed the Community operates food bank in an area of Grimsby that has high unemployment and lots of low income families. We fundraise to purchase store cupboard basics and work with local supermarkets, collecting unsold but still perfectly edible food, providing people in need, sufficient food to last 3-4 days. Each client is assessed on an individual basis and no one is turned away if in need.

The purpose of the Mothers' Union is to be especially concerned with Christian Family Life and to support marriages, parents and those whose family life has met with adversity.

We select certain organisations engaged in the activities referred in A13a and make donations to them. We also on occasions respond to similar organisations who contact us with requests for assistance.

The charity provides support to families living with dementia in the Tamworth and Lichfield areas

RAFA supports the whole Air Force family giving friendship and support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their dependants, widows or widowers.

The orchestra performs 6 concerts per year in Derby and the surrounding area. These comprise four concerts with classical works, one at Christmas with popular music for families and one aimed at children. The orchestra is keen to widen access to both its players and to audiences. We offer concessions to seniors and students both on players' subscriptions and on the entrance fee to most concerts.

We support families of children in the Rugby area who have Autism Spectrum conditions. Our charity Associate membership is free and benefits may typically include: discounts on workshops and webinars; rebates on entry fees and parking for days out and discounted autism friendly events. We also provide signposting and support and access to resources including books and equipment.

FAMILY AND CHILDRENS SOCIAL EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR HURSTHEAD JUNIOR SCHOOL

The charity supports Albaraca Nursery School in the town of Sukuta, The Gambia, which opened in 1998. There are now 160 children, 8 teachers (7 of whom are fully trained and qualified) with 5 rooms, a kitchen and small medical area. We also support the local community by providing mosquito nets for families with children at the school. 5 local Gambians help the trustees to manage the school.

STAPA exists to enrich the lives and education of children at St Andrew's Primary school in Streatham, SW London.We create events to promote unity and inclusion in our community, provide fun for children and parents, and work with the school to help provide the best educational environment for our children and those who will come afterward. We ensure lower income families are supported in school

This year has been a difficult year to raise money due to the recession. 4 people had their cataract removed in Bangladesh. At the moment we a supporting a family in Bangladesh on a monthly basis as the head of family had a heart attach and died we are sending them ?100 a month from any donation we are receiving.

To provide voluntry support and activities for families affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorder in Oxfordshire. We hold indoor meetings with guest speakers and run holiday based Playdays for families to enjoy, in a safe and organised environment. OASIS members also hold informal coffee and chat groups around the region to help support members and help others feel less isolated.

Jades Bags Charity provide essential items such as food parcels, toiletries, clothing including school uniforms for those people referred via Social Services, Mental Health Services or any other organisation caring for vulnerable adults, families in Lancashire. We also receive Self referrals from individuals.

Shacklewell Families is the parents & guardians association of Shacklewell Primary School. We raise money for the school and strengthen our school community by organising fun social events such as the Christmas Fair, Summer Fair, Halloween Fright Night, Cake Sales plus other events thoughout the year.

MARS Trust runs key skill workshops for young people including Communication, Conflict Management, Commitment and Choice, bringing communities together to facilitate the empowerment of youth to make informed relationship decisions to enhance personal, family, work and sports opportunities. MARS evidence based work dispels myths and encourages personal exploration to increase fulfilment potential.

THE CENTRE PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES AT FOUR LEVELS: SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL. THIS ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO MAY FEEL EXCLUDED FROM EXISTING SERVICES TO PARTICIPATE IN A CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR THEIR NEEDS. Bolton Smiley Faces provide monthly support group meetings with activities to support children who have Downs Syndrome living in Bolton and the surrounding areas to include speech therapy, art therapy, signalong, activities to support development of fine and gross motor skills. We also provide family activities during school holidays.
