We look after, assess and find new, loving homes, for greyhounds in need of care in Wales and The Marches. We provide vet treatment and kennelling and work in co operation with other like-minded Welsh groups to ensure that families offering suitable homes are not kept waiting. The aim of the charity is to promote education and to provide financial help to deprived children in Pakistan to achieve this objective. For this purpose the charity has successfully built a school in a village called Bupra near the city of Gujranwala. The school is up and running successfully supporting the local children, families and elderly- approximately 400 pupils of all ages.

The Society exists to preserve what is known of the village's past through documents, photographs, archaeological finds and artefacts from local industry and family life. The main activities are the operating and maintenance of Wollaston Museum, regular fund-raising events, educational and social events.

Fundraising is mainly carried out by members of the public by charitable events. This also serves to raise awareness of the funding possibilities of the charity to families that previously had no access to this type of funding.

Dewsbury Young Diabetics aims to support families whose lives have been touched by the illness.
