I CAAN is a group of volunteers that organise activities for people with autism and their families in Allerdale and Copeland

Our aim is to offer advice and support to the parents, carers, families and the children themselves.Ensuring as far as possible that Deaf Children receive the best from modern medical and educational techniques at the earliest stage of their lives.Encouraging and educating the public as to the needs of Deaf Children.

Waverley Association for Special People supports the work of Waverley School, whose pupils have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. The charity is run by its Trustees who meet bi-annually. Funds are raised by the families & friends of the School and the the money goes towards maintenance of two school mini buses, buys equipment and helps fund outings and activites for the pupils.

We continue to support our village children's education by paying their private tuition fees for the last 8 years and also running an English class for students. We funded house renovation expenses of 70,000 Rupees to a single mother of two, which was in very bad condition. The foundation funded to buy 3 sheep in total for 3 different families and also provided medical assistance to a child.

Continues to make grants to selected charitable bodies operating in West Sussex.

Although we are a Masonic organisation, the bulk of our donations, of over 95% are made to local charities. This year donations of £500.00 have been made to each of the following: The Hamlet Charity; Thornage Hall Independent Living; Norfolk Family Carers; Together for Mental Wellbeing; The Smile Shop CIC and £1000.00 to Fresh Start - New Beginnings.

Friends of Woodseats Playground: Graves Park work closely together with Woodseats community to raise money through local and national fundraising, Grants and Trusts to regenerate Woodseats playground. We aim to make the playground more inclusive and appealing to families and children of all ages by adding new play equipment and landscaping the surrounding area.

The charity fund provides additional activites for children and families beyond the remit of the Local Authority and which children and families may not otherwise be able to access, such as; visiting farm animals, parenting workshops, healthy living advice, cookery sessions for adults and children, gardening sessions with the opportunity to grow your own food and expeditions to local attractions.

During this accounting period, activities have included sponsered half marothons and Charity Race night. In 2010 further nights including a fashion night were hugely successful and parachute jumps.Plans are in place for further nights in 2011 aswell as a three peak challenge. The charity continues to spread the message of menkes, raise awarenesss and support families with boys with Menkes

Stepping Stones Baby Bank provide support to families experiencing difficulties due to hardship and poverty within the Wakefield and West Yorkshire area. We do this by providing essential items and equipment to families and mothers to be that are identified as being in need. These families are identified by health/social professionals and other agencies.

Baby Basics Chelmsford is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby.

The charity is a Christian organisation. We aim to provide a safe place for Wymondham young people aged 13-18 to gather. Through relationship, guiding and signposting we seek to provide advice on; Drug/alcohol awareness, antisocial behaviour, anger management, sexual health, low self esteem, anxiety-exams/bullying/self harming, eating disorders, family breakdown, bereavement, employment & finance.

It is a venue for village activities eg keep fit, , WI, , bowls, private functions and family parties and village social gatherings including fund raising. Also it is used for meetings such as Parish Council.

Hockley sport foundation is a charity that aims for community development with hand on attitude and progress through unified approach. We work across the city of Birmingham , delivering projects in disadvantaged areas. We engage many participants every year in various sporting field including disable adult, children, young people, people with learning disability, underprivileged families/ adults.

The objects (main purposes) of Family and Friends of Risley Avenue Primary School are to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school&Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils

Widewell Parents & Friends Association exists to support Widewell Primary Academy. We hold events for the benefit of pupils and families linked to the school, and for community involvement, such as school discos, fayres, cake sales, raffles and movie nights. We use the events to fundraise for the things needed at school, like money towards class trips, playground and classroom equipment.

Friends of Shirehampton Primary provides activities and fundraising opportunities for the students and families of Shirehampton Primary School. We organise activities such as discos, fairs, and cake sales to raise money for resources that the school needs, as well as providing fun opportunities for the students to engage socially with their peers.

We support people in the UK affected by aniridia: those who have it plus their family, carers, doctors, educators and others. We want all these people to be hopeful, confident, supported and well informed regarding aniridia.For them we: organise conferences, meetups and befriending, provide access to professionals and distriubute or signpost to useful information.

Our Parents and Friends Association works with the whole school community, including the parish to put on a range of events and activities, for example, fun days, family nights, discos, sponsored events. The events help raise valuable funds to support all the children within our school community including our most vulnerable children.
