The Wish Tree does this by providing funding towards competent childcare, domestic help and/or transport for a period of up to 1 year for families with dependents and for up to 3 months for those without dependents.

William Torbitt Primary School and Home Association host fun events and activities for our pupils, their families and the wider School Community. Payment of grants to residents of Thaxted who are either families with three or more children under the age of 16 on the qualifying date, couples who were married in Thaxted Parish Church within the previous twelve months of the qualifying date, apprentices or students undertaking further education. Grants may also be made to Thaxted Parish Church for restoration of the church.
