The charity's initial activities have focused on holding drama club workshops for schoolchildren in a disadvantaged area of London and producing theatrical productions for the enjoyment and education of young audiences, with the aim of fostering an interest in the theatrical arts in young children and their families.

We provide grants to relieve the financial hardship of home educating families in the UK by funding access to legal advice, assistance and representation on issues affecting a parent's duty to ensure their child receives an education where persons could otherwise not afford them through lack of means. The charity also provides grants relating to the education of the public on home education law.

Side by Side provides support to all those with long term conditions, disabilities and/or additional needs through the medium of music at weekly choir rehearsals. Our members are made up of people with illnesses, disabilities and/or additional needs, carers, friends and family and everyone seems to enjoy themselves whilst at each rehearsal.

The charity aims to support vulnerable children in Tabora. The region has a high death rate with many children being orphaned and forced to live with extended families who are already struggling to survive. Education levels are low and unemployment high which creates a catalyst for poverty. The charity therefore aims to support them with their education, provide nutritious meals and medical care.

OUR MAIN AIM IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AAND INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE SEVERE FORM OF THE DISEASE CALLED MALIGNANT INFANTILE OSTEOPETROSIS. Providing Christmas grants, where needed, to those of 65 and over or to families with children, who live in the parish of Esher.

Christmas cheques to the widows of past members. (currently 6 x -ú25.) Occasional donations to Military Charities, Help for Heroes, Afghanistan Trust etc. Assistance can be made available to members and/or close family if and when required.
