Harvington Village Hall is a facility which provides space for members of the community to come together to learn, share experiences and be entertained. Regular users of the Village Hall include a Nursery &Preschool; Yoga & similar exercise groups; an Amateur Dramatic Society; Rainbows and Girlguiding Groups; Phoenix Ladies Group; St. James Church events; Singing group; First school PTFA.

The charity provides structured youth work activities to young people, living in and around the Wallingford area or those who are visiting the area. These activities take the form of weekly hall based activities, water and adventure based activities and expeditions, competitions and weeks away. Training of staff to deliver these activities and providing voluntary support in the community

Scouting activities for boys and girls.

Activities include art, craft, music, cooking, first aid, sports, outdoor pursuits & camps, all ran in conjunction with a progressive badge system, which is available to boys and girls aged 6-14 years, with the object of instructing them in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship. Meetings: Mon 7.00pm Band, Weds 5.45pm Beavers, 7pm Cubs, Thurs 7.30pm Guides, Fri 7pm Scouts.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGED 6 TO 25. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCATION. THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Benefiting Ripley Endowed School and promoting the education (including social and physical training) of boys and girls who are resident in the Ancient Parish of Ripley, are in need of financial assistance and go on to further education or training. Grants are made to assist, among other things, the purchase of school uniform, tools, instruments or books.

Radyr Friends of Guiding has responsibility for the upkeep of Radyr Guide Centre and supports girlguiding activities in the local district.

The Association has a number of Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Senior Section units that meet in a local HQ. These units are run by adult volunteers and its HQ by a committee of local interested supporters of the Guide movement and leaders of units. The Association welcomes all to join!!!

Scouting activities for boys and girls in our local area.

The objects of the charity are to apply the whole or any part of the income to any properly constituted Boys' Club or body carrying on similar work in Great Britain. In recent years the charity has made grants to Youth Clubs, to vacation projects to enable children from less well off families to attend holiday breaks run by charities, and to Scout and Girl Guide groups, among other organisations.

The Group provides regular weekly activities for boys and girls via a Beaver Colony, Cub and Scout pack. The Group is part of the Scouting Association. Children are predominantly from the village of South Nutfield but membership is not restricted by place of residency.

Provision of Girlguiding activities for girls aged 5 to 18 through Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units throughout Corby.

We hold 11 meetings per month where members get together. Our purpose is fun friendship and education so we have speakers or do activities to promote these.

Provision of Scouting activities to local boys and girls within Brampton and surrounding areas. Using fund raising to subsidise the cost of participation to maximise invovlement

The Women's Institute advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare, promotes sustainable development, advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

The Trust exists to raise funds to support Hitchin Girls' School in the provision of facilities and resources for the education of students at the school, and for use by the local community.

Educate Girls' activities include meeting donors and partners and communicating the work of its partner FEGG in India. Activities include events, speaking at conferences in UK and Europe, writing communication material such as blogs, articles and reports, working on and dissemination of case studies sharing lessons learnt from the Indian programme.

On 20th May 2018 this society was hold a Nepali New Year and Charity party. In the event there ware over 100 people attended including children, adults and elderly peoples. On the party there were invited the Mayor and Mayoral and the dignitary people of Thurrock Borough. Our youths have delivered a lecture about the Gurkha history since the 1st and 2nd world war. INCH is a charity with general charitable purposes that works in partnership with two long established partners in West Bengal India. The charity gives grants to the two partners for the relief of poverty and the promotion of education including the support of girls who have been trafficked, building improved school facilities and the support of poor children into education.
