We are part of Girlguiding UK which enables girls and young women to develop their potential to make a difference to the world.

Maintain & improve the existing HQ for Guiding activities to continue, support & fundraise with and for the local guiding units.

THE AIM IS TO ASSIST YOUNG WOMEN, OF NON-VOCATIONAL and VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, IN BUYING EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS, NEEDED TO HELP GAIN A QUALIFICATION AND ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE.

Various guides, brownie and scouts activities run from the centre. Including sports, crafts, outdoor adventuring, domestic cooking.

SPORTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE INCLUDING FOOTBALL,ATHLETICS AND RUGBY

Provision of football fields and open space for recreational use for under 12's, together with associated facilities for both boys and girls.

The Myne London Foundation is established to support education for children and young people (in particular but not exclusively women and girls) in Pakistan by the provision of grants and financial support.

Empower women and girls in UK and Africa. Advance Special Needs Education and promote Disability rights. Educational and creative workshops for Carers. Epilepsy Alliance Africa Awareness. OUR AIM IS TO HELP THE GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO DEVELOP EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY SO THEY CAN MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE WIDER WORLD. PROGRAMMES HAVE INCLUDED LEARNING TO WORK IN GROUPS, CARE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL, CRAFT, MUSIC, OUTDOOR SKILLS AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF OUR PROMISE AND LAW. MANY CAMPS AND HOLIDAYS WERE RUN.

Scout Group serving children from local community. With boys and girls from 6 years old in our Beaver section up to teens in our Scout section.

GIRL LED PROJECTS, PROMOTING SELF ESTEEM, AWARENESS AND COMMUNITYDuring 2014 the District obtained funding from The Big Lottery Fund and Girlguiding West Sussex in order to carry out essential refurbishment to the outer cladding of the Guide HQ. The work was carried out and completed during January/February 2015.

SPONSORS THE EDUCATION OF POOR GIRLS IN NIGERIA (LAGOS,PORT HARCOURT AND ASABA) AND ACCRA IN GHANA BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 18 YEARS.FEEDING, TRANSPORT AND HEALTH COSTS ARE PAID BY CHARITY. AFTER EDUCATION THE GIRLS ARE GIVEN FURTHER TRAINING IF NEEDED TO HELP GAIN EMPLOYMENT OR AID TO START UP A SMALL BUSINESS (EMPLOYMENT AND ENTERPRISES SCHEME).FUNDS ARE RAISED FOR THE ABOVE IN THE UK

Raising money to help Girlguiding Basingstoke.

To promote, rehearse and perform light choral music for and in the community both locally to Doncaster and throughout the country.

The 1st Nazeing Scout Group, which can be traced back to before the 2nd World War, joined together with Nazeing Girl Guiding sections during the 1970+?+?+?s to form the 1st Nazeing Scout and Guide Group. The Group is affiliated to both The Scout Association and Girl Guide Association.The groups have activities in the hut and field trips including camps visits to other groups
