Male voice choral activities, supporting local charities by giving concerts

The Charity is a Male Choir which promotes, develops and maintains public education in and appreciation of male choral singing by the presentation of public concerts and recitals

A volunteer Male Voice Choir, rehearsing and performing concerts mainly in the Somerset Area and Bath. Encouraging men of all ages to join and develop their singing skillsRaising money for local charities at our performances

The Choir shall, promote,develop and maintain education in an appreciation of male voice choral music, by the presentation of public concerts for charity and/or reasons designated by its elected committee.

We are a Male Choir that meets to provide instruction and entertainment

We provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation by providing a gardening club, community allotments, community green spaces and other activities for individuals in Gainsborough and the surrounding area.

We are an amateur choir drawing our membership from North East London, South West Essex, and South East Hertfordshire. We train singers at our weekly practices in Waltham Abbey and give monthly concerts: for private groups in Care Homes and Clubs, and for the general public in Churches, Halls etc. The latter are usually treated as fundraising events by the sponsoring organization.

To provide facilities were like minded people can work together on woodworking projects that support mental health and the community.

We provide an accessible, safe, secure, sociable and inclusive workshop space and related facilities, where members can participate in woodwork and craft activities within the limits of their own abilities; sharing and learning informally from each other. The Group provides training within 3 different age ranges for young people both male & female aged 6 to 15. These activities develop the individual and group to fulfil an active place in society. The Group is run by volunteer Leaders and Executive committee, all of which are part of the Scout Association. The Group is funded by membership fees & fund-raising events and grant applications.

The GMPMVC gives concerts throughout the UK but mainly within the GMP area. By invitation, it has also sung in the EU.The Choir has been privileged to assist in raising many thousands of pounds for organisations and charities such as Scope, The Rainbow Trust, The Deep Sea Fishermen's Mission, Rochdale Springhill & Bury Hospices, Cancer Research UK as well as local churches and schools.

To provide a focus for village social and sporting activities for all ages in the centre of the village by maintaining a village hall available for hire at nominal rates.

We provide premises containing a full range of wood working machinery, supervision and training to enable members to work together to make and repair articles in wood. It also arranges visits to places of interest and social activites such as eating out. It also has some recreational equipment and facilites to hold extended refreshment breaks encourageing interaction and social inclusion.
