We are a close harmony singing group and give concerts for the public often in collaboration with others for local and national charities. We provide free learning workshops and courses in the community to encourage men to take up singing and learn the skills that will improve their confidence, health and wellbeing.

Havant Mens Shed operates within the borough of Havant and supports the community by undertaking various projects. These have included making and or repairing community resources such as benches. The charitie also supports other charities by undertaking repairs for them and making goods to be used in their charities activities or to support their fund raising.

To hold meetings on Tuesday mornings from 1st Tuesday in October until last Tuesday of April, which is the A.G.M. for retired or semi-retired men, where lectures on subjects of interest for this category of men. Time is allowed before for fraternisation. Subjects include health, travel, financial and the work of other societies.

Part of the National Round Table organisation for men aged 18-41. This is a local group based in Lutterworth and surrounding villages. Fundraising activities held annually to include a dog show, bucket collections at supermarkets and others as appropriate.

Ludchurch Village Committee aims to improve our rural village and enhance life for residents. We've transformed Longstone Chapel into a community centre, where we host activities like coffee mornings and men's shed to combat social isolation. Our fundraising events ensure the Community Centre's maintenance and improvement, fostering a supportive and close-knit community.

We are a male choir providing the opportunity for men to exercise and develop their musical skills in group format. We raise funds from concerts and recordings which enable us to make donations to various selected charities and deserving causes and to like effect provide our services to other charities to assist in their direct fundraising.

Oswestry Mens Shed provides a place for men who may be isolated or lonely to gather together for purposeful and meaningful activities. We are in the process of building a large workshop, a project which, in itself, has provided a satisfying and successful project for the Members.We have given presentations about our activity to local Councils (Whittington) and in a Public Meeting (Oswestry).

We support and facilitate the wellbeing of (usually) retired men by providing a dedicated space (St Boniface Church Hall) in which they can meet and work together. We carry out individual or community projects in an atmosphere of camaraderie and goodwill together with a place to talk and discuss issues that affect our members.

Distribution of Christmas Day Gifts (vouchers to purchase clothing) to men aged 75 and over and Ascension Day Gifts (vouchers to purchase food and clothing) to persons aged 75 and over. MSL will benefit the inhabitants of Lichfield and the surrounding area by establishing a safe and comfortableenvironment in which older men can meet and work together on their chosen leisure activities. It has beenshown that this can promote wellbeing and improved mental health in a group known to be at risk of socialisolation and loneliness.

Providing grants for female students to complete secondary school in the catchment area of Singhe Pieh School, Hamilton, Nr Freetown.Assist in improving the access and impact of females in the local community.

Support the Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry in the High House, Stafford so that it may be a tribute to the men of Staffordshire who served in the war and an interesting social history for today's public. The Charity relies on donations and gifts to meet its objectives

Dunstable Men in Sheds is a member of the UK Men's Sheds Association. The Men's Shed movement provides a community based atmosphere for men over 50 to engage in hobbies, community projects and general socialising. The Ldny Foundation supports young people from the UK, US and developing world gain entry into the creative industries. Our ?Legacy Collection? initiative which supports young design talent and promotes poor female artisans has been a great success and delivered the following: Funded collections for 20 design students: 10 from LFC and 10 from Parsons.Supported and trained 10 female artisans.
