Clairs Parents Meeting Parents ADHD Support (CPMPADHD) aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding ADHD, whilst providing a support network for parents and carers in St Helens and the surrounding areas. We hold support meeting; provide information, advice and strategies on ADHD; speakers and workshops; activities and courses for children and their siblings.

The objectives of the Society are principally: To provide help and support for people with a learning disability and their families and carers and to assist in the provision of facilities for the recreation or other leisure time occupation for people who have a learning disability with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We supply sporting and leisure activities for children and adults with severe learning difficulties, providing valuable respite for carers. Our activities are swimming youth club boccia curling & football. Support meeting for carers plus outings.

Teaching Horse riding to children with learning difficulties from three local schools. The charity hires ponies from a local riding stables.

With the majority of adults with learning disabilities living in the community the charity is no longer just for the provision of transport it also provides: 1) Help in funding holidays 2) Funding for parties3) Arranges & funds days trips4) Purchases items to improve quality of residents lives e.g. electric wheel chairs, TVs etc

Leading UK national disability sport organisation for people with intellectual impairment. Promotes, facilitates & supports talented athletes to train,compete & excel in national/international sport. Supports National Governing Bodies of sport,influences policy, manages classification & supports GB athletes in/out competition. Member, British Paralympic Ass & GB member of Virtus

Providing support for people with Learning Difficulties who reside in the north Dorset area through the development and support of innovative projects that enhance their lives.

RAGS offers a support network for families who have a child or young person with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome. Our board of trustees is made up of local parents and professionals in the field of Autism. RAGS welcomes siblings and those awaiting diagnosis. Information advice and guidance is available along with events and activities.

Willoughby Foundation collects donations which are used to benefit our pupils who have severe learning difficulties. Funds received provide resources or activities which cannot be provided by the school's budget.

The Foresters' Horn Group RDA enriches lives through horses. We provide riding sessions twice a week in term time at two venues in Wirral. The sessions cater for children, young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities and help them to develop new skills and enjoy being with horses. The group is run entirely by volunteers.
