The Shop! is managed by a core group of 8 people overseen by 3 Trustees.We provide a welcome & friendly cafe environment at 89 Selsey High Street. A place to chat, meet & make new friends in the community. We especially want to provide a safe place for the lonely etc.In the afternoons local Community Groups - Dementia Awareness, Shut Ins, Learning Difficulties, use the shop.

We provide riding lessons for people with physical disabilities and or learning difficulties

Provide recreational activities for people with learning difficulties such as crafts, sports,day trips, discos and other entertainmaints such as theatre visits, visiting bands or local groups who provide entertainment.

To support with grants adults as individuals or groups with a learning disability/ difficulty who are, or were in the past, resident in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Such as projects, holidays, outings, and a wide range of community activity. Not those which should be supported by public sector.

Advance the education of young people by providing for facilities for education Promote/assist any charitable activity directed to the care or special education of people who have learning difficulties or are physically disabled or suffer from mental health problems Promote/assist any charitable activity directed to the relief of poverty caused by disability,social or economic circumstances

The provision of facilities for persons with learning and physical difficulties within the Clacton on Sea, Frinton on Sea, Walton on the Naze and surrounding area. A social club is operated for people with learning difficulties on a weekly basis and other specialist events are provided on a regular basis. Special parties and trips are also arranged as and when required.

The advancement of education, leisure and employment for people with learning disabilities through the provision of a workshop and small financial grants to individuals or organisations.

Providing free mental health support and counselling in Hartlepool, specialising in neurodiversity, including Autism and ADHD. We offer one-to-one sessions, wellbeing activities, and early intervention for those facing loneliness, trauma, or distress. Funds support counselling, neurodiverse inclusion, and our accessible community wellbeing hub.

HAPPY HOURS CLUB IS A SOCIAL CLUB FOR LOCAL PEOPLE IN AND AROUND STOURBRIDGE WHO HAVE LEARNING DISABILITIES.

SDSG runs a weekly swim session and other sports/social activities, for persons with a physical, sensory or learning disability and for those recovering from short-term illness or injury. Individuals - who are encouraged to come with other family members or carers - swim to help build confidence, increase strength, and co-ordination, social interaction, and primarily, to have fun.

Club for adults with learning difficulties

We provide community support and activities to help to improve the local area for all residents, but in particular those that would be deemed vulnerable. These tasks and supports are offered by young adults with learning disabilities.

Torbay Mencap is a charitable organization which works with people with learning disabilities and family carers in Torbay. We aim to promote the rights of people with a learning disability and their carers to ensure they have access to a wide range of quality services and opportunities.

Jacaranda Trust gives grants to carefully selected projects in Zimbabwe which help vulnerable children, adults with learning difficulties and the elderly with no other means of support.

PROVIDES LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES AND THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDES SERVICES NOT COVERED BY LOCAL AUTHORITY. CAMPAIGNS ON ISSUES THAT ARE OF INTEREST TO THE GROUP.

To use the performing arts to empower children and young people to build up self confidence and self esteem by participating in public performances. An inclusive project, both for children who are able bodied and for children with learning difficulties and with minor to severe physical and learning disabilities where they learn to work in partnership and without discrimination.

To advance the education of the pupils of Uffculme School, a 3 -19 special school, for children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism, by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational or other charitable facilities, nor normally provided by the Local Authority

The main role of the charity is to raise funds for Osborne School which is a state school for children with a wide range of learning difficulties. The charity also seeks to encourage social interaction between staff, parents, pupils and friends of the school.

The Friends of Springhallow support the activities of Springhallow School. Springhallow is a school for pupils with autistic spectrum/communication disorders in Ealing , London. Children at the school have learning difficulties, ranging from moderate to severe. The Friends raise money primarily through social events, to provide additional facilities to the school.

Providing the opportunity for those with learning disabilities (and their families and carers) to obtain advice, guidance and support and offering the opportunity to participate in various recreational activities in a safe environment. Advocacy needs and wants of people with a learning disability to enable greater integration in the local community.

Provision of activities for adults with learning disabilities in City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, namely weekly clubs for drama, dance and poetry. Residential visits, meals, theatre visits. All 500 old students receive newsletters, birthday and Christmas Cards.

The Adam Rogers Trust provides grants and funding to: Relieve the needs and suffering of children with cancer. Relieve need and advance education for adults with learning difficulties and brain injuries.

We are an independent and entirely volunteer-run organisation organising social activities for adults with learning disabilities. We provide an outlet for social interaction specifically for adults with learning disabilities to socialise with their peers on a regular basis, in a safe and friendly environment, in the form of weekly evening sessions and seasonal day trips at the weekend.

We are a charity based in Hastings, working to enable as many people as possible to engage in fun social dance activities. we are developing 4 strands: Wheelchair accessible dance for adults with learning difficulties, dance in care homes, free accessible family-friendly dance events, dance for those whose mental health makes it difficult to access local dance classes.
