We help women from ethnic minorities, particularly those who speak English as a second language. We provide community, support and opportunities through:1) English teaching: free, women-only classes with creche.2) Well-being activities: drama, Zumba, craft, gardening, parties.3) Resources: clothing, baby, kitchen items etc, also food delivery.4) A wide range of one-to-one support.

We provide a number of activities to help build our local community. Social inclusion is key to our work in our efforts to build social cohesion. We work with families, youth , elderly the unemployed, the homeless individuals refugees and the BAME communities to effect changes in their situation. We work through one to one sessions and group session to ensure change is on going.

Youthstart provides cultural and social activities for ethnic minority youth who would otherwise not be able to access such opportunities any other way.Youthstart has initiated a variety of social activities which have been well attended and met with much success. It provides a 24 hour internet television channel www.bmetv.net ranked in the top 3% of all worldwide websites ( according to Alexa) and provides positive engagement via training, sports and other events.

We operate in London. We promote more inclusive communities by helping older people from underrepresented (BAME) groups, overcome social isolation and loneliness through community minorities-based projects and activities such as; IT skills, ESOL provision, befriending, leisure and arts. However, during Covid-19, we have extended the scope of our services to provide food security and advice.
