We provide refuge space for Latin American women and children in the UK who flee domestic violence. Our Advice and Information Centre provides advocacy and support for women who are not ready yet to leave abusive relationships or might not be eligible to live in the refuge. We recently took on floating support and we are part of the Islington BME Outreach Project.

To provide a place of worship for the multi-ethnic community of Muslims in London and Britain.To propagate and extend the teachings and the message of Islam as a compassionate religion encompassing all schools of thought and in total compliance with the law of the land. To establish liaison and work with Government, voluntary sector, local authority, statutory bodies, and other agencies.

Today we support work with 11 -25 year olds through specialist projects and programmes addressing issues that marginalise or place young people at risk, including mental health, homelessness, crime, racism, sexuality, drug & alcohol use, abuse, rural isolation and poverty.

We are committed to improving quality of life for local people. We work with entire communities or discrete groups such as young people, BME's, school children and businesses to deliver changes to local environments, individual behaviour and sense of community.

The Limehouse Project was set up in 1984 in Tower Hamlets and manages and delivers an extensive range of services designed to implement the organisation's mission statement: to alleviate the difficulties and help realise the aspirations of the most disadvantaged members of local communities, particularly those of ethnic minority origin, women, young people and children.

Asha Projects is a specialist Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women's organisation working with South Asian women to address violence against women and girls. Our programmes include accommodation based refuges, advice, outreach and training programmes to empower women.

High quality advice to Camden's most deprived residents through telephone and face to face work. We reach BME and refugee communities by having a number of advisers from those communities. Areas of advice offered are: Welfare Benefits, Employment, Debt, Housing, Asylum and Immigration - we include representation at Tribunals and Outreach sessions in libraries and Community Centre.

Objective is to work for the promotion of any charitable purposes for the benefit of women and children experiencing domestic violence, by the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. Provide facilities in social welfare, health & wellbeing, recreation,leisure with object of improving conditions of life,combating isolation, relieving needs of older people over 50,particularly African, Caribbean and other BME groups living in Kensington & Chelsea, surrounding boroughs and offer care services to those suffering physically.

Provides full and part time daycare and education primarily to those from black and ethnic minority backgrounds, those on low incomes and single parents.Provides early years education training and mentoring.

PATRA Inc ACDA seeks to remove all forms of disadvantage that prevents individuals from BME Groups, competing on an equal basis in the labour market. It is also a means of ensuring that BME people are properly represented in skilled and senior positions in proportion to their presence in the labour market. PATRA Inc ACDA also carries out research into issues affecting the BME community.

The main purpose of the Council of Asian People (CAP) is to improve the quality of life of people in Haringey and neighbouring boroughs. Its facilities and services are available to all members of the local community but is targeted, in particular, to people from the Black Asian Minority Ethnic (bame) communities including lone parents, women, children, old people and people with disabilities.

To support BME women and their families within Greater London by providing 1) information, advice and advocacy 2) personal development opportunities 3) health and personal well-being activities 4) social, recreational and cultural activities 5) space within our premises for local women's groups.

The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

Award grants to young students from black and ethnic minority backgrounds - assist with the tuition fees and / or costs for attending certified educational courses to gain a recognised qualification in print, magazine, online, broadcast, new media and photo journalism.

We provide a building, and playing facilities, education and training arts and culture, and environment conservation and heritage projects for all young people including, disabled and ethnic minorities, with qualified staff, all of which takes place in a safe environment with health and safety at all times, and all checks made on all staff, and volunteers, which are required by law.

To foster a love and interest in music general and in particular, music for brass bands. to maintain and support the band by raising funds and to give instruction to young people and others of ether sex in all sections of the community including disabled unemployed and ethnic minorities in the playing and manipulation of instruments normally comprised in brass band and orchestras generally.

Information and advice on welfare benefits; Information and advice on immigration and asylum issues; Basic ICT and ESOL classes and advanced classes for members of BME, making the transition to work; Cultural and creative activities and events; A range of volunteer programmes; Struggle against domestic violence; Care for elderly and sick people; Advice to parents about teenager crimes.

During the past year, the charity maintained active contacts with the ethnic minority groups & supported them in various ways. As charity itself in financial crisis no such help could be provided to other groups to enhance the potentiality of the youths. Facilities in training in indian arts, music, drama & basic computer provided together with healthcare, cultural & religious festivals.
