Providing riding lessons for Disabled Children

Provides a safe supervised opportunity for people with physical and mental disabilities to horseride. it is available for people of all ages and most disabilities with suitably qualified staff and trained volunteers in attendance.

We are a group of around 20 volunteers, who provide and support horse and riding activities for children with learning difficulties and physical disabilities in the west Northumberland area.

Provides horse-riding for handicapped children.

During school term times, qualified Instructors and Helpers (3 per pony and child) give half hour riding instruction to disabled children. Lessons are given once a week. On average six youngsters, male and female attend.

Horse riding sessions provide human resources for education and training and sport and recreation for children and young people .

Providing riding tuition, equine interactions and positive outdoor learning opportunities for disabled adults and children.

Pony riding for primary age children with special needs

Lessons with children who have learning or sensory disabilities are held at the local riding stables. We support Wanstead Community Riding Stables CIC events.

Providing people with disabilities and their carers with the opportunity to ride, carriage drive and be with horses as a means to access countryside and the natural environment for their health and well-being.

The provision of horseriding facilities for the physical or mental improvement of disabled persons.

The Franche Riding Group supports a group of local children with a wide range of disabilities to go horse riding.Horse riding offers these special children an opportunity for enjoyment, challenge, friendship, laughter, achievement, independence and confidence.

To improve the lives of people with disabilities through the provision of riding and/or carriage driving to benefit their health and well being in the Congleton, Macclesfield and Staffordshire Moorlands area.

Epsom RDA provides horse riding to disabled children, young people and adults. The riding sessions are provided seven days a week and the organisation is run on a totally voluntary basis.

We provide the opportunity of riding or pony& trap driving to disabled children and adults who might benefit in their general health and well being and have fun at the same time. The riding is held at Anglesey Riding Centre and the pony & trap driving at Llaneilian, Anglesey.

On 1st April 2021 the charity transferred its activities to a newly incorporated CIO - Charity no 1187740 and is therefore no longer active.
