The activities during first year were limited to providing financial support to orphans and widows. The trustees plan to expand the activities to the other areas of the charity's objectives in the next year.

The charity's main aims are to promote the physical and mental health of children, women and orphans in Bangladesh through the provision of financial assistance, support, education, accommodation, food and medical treatment.

RAFA supports the whole Air Force family giving friendship and support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their dependants, widows or widowers.

To relieve and assist members of the upper and middle classes of society - Men over 50 and females over 40, who have fallen on hard times and widows, daughters of such persons.

Our goal is to help people help themselves out of poverty. We build successful social enterprises to sustainably fund;care, food and education for orphans, community centres, installation of water, sanitation and electricity systems, support for teachers and healthcare workers, HIV prevention projects, AIDS counselling and physiotherapy and the provision of family grants and enterprise support.

To relieve the suffering and distress of hedgehogs in need of care and attention by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation service for sick, injured, or orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing such hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible.
