Harting Preschool was set up in 1983 as a not for profit charity offering childcare for children in Harting and the surrounding villages. We are based in the village hall and our team of qualified staff run sessions four days a week. As a setting we are passionate about placing children at the centre of our provision, following the Early Years curriculum.

Playgroup is situated within Ysgol Nant Y Groes, our setting has been especially designed for children between the ages of 2 to 4 years. Playgroup consists of two large rooms: one room for 2 year olds, one for 3to4 year olds, both rooms are designed to promote the Curriculum for Wales with clear learning areas defined. A rural Pre-school and nursery providing Early Years Foundation Stage Education for children 2 1/2 years to school age who live in Knebworth Parish and the surrounding area. Our income from the LEA is topped up by the payment of fees for those children not in receipt of LEA funding and the overall shortfall in funding is supplemented by fundraising events organised by the Management Committee.

SNAP specialist play is based in Pembrokeshire supporting pre school age children who have additional needs. The children's developmental milestones are observed, assessed and identified where individual play plans are devised to support their progress through play . We work collaboratively with all professionals involved to assist the transition into Education.

The aims of objectives of the charity is the advancement of the religion of Islam. The advancement of the education of the Bangladesh Muslim community particularly of the children and young persons and teaching the Quran to young children.The charity provides welfare and advice services to the wider community in order to improve their quality of life.
