We provide Pre-school education to children aged from birth to 5 years old who live in and around the Whitchurch area Bristol. We do this by operating parent/carer and toddler groups in the Whitchurch Community Centre (First Steps for under 2's; Little Learners for children aged 2 years). Those aged 3 to 5 join our Ofsted Registered Pre-school, which is based in St Nicholas Church Hall.

We are an OFSTED registered Pre- school our aim is to develop a balanced curriculum to assist children with learning and developing through play. This is achieved by using the Early Years Foundation Stage and birth to 5 matters.

To provide preschool education for the children in the community.

We offer early years pre-school provision for up to 30 children per session, morning and afternoon, five days a week during school term time.

THE DODDINGHURST PRE-SCHOOL PROVIDES ALL LOCAL CHILDREN WITH A SAFE ENVIROMENT TO LEARN AND PLAY. THE PRE-SCHOOL OFFERS ARTS AND CRAFTS, FREE PLAY AND MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES DURING STRUCTURED SESSIONS THAT PREPARE THE CHILDREN TO MOVE ON TO SCHOOL. ALL ACTIVITES VARY THROUGH THE TERM AS THERE IS A DIFFERENT THEME EACH WEEK. THE PRE-SCHOOL IS A VALUABLE PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.
